In the year 2092, the world suffered an deadly plague that wiped out 99% of the world's population. However a small group of individuals consisting of rich CEO's, buisness tycoons and company leaders, decided to rebuild civilization that would be run by their terms. Under their rule people were taught about financing and the values of capitalism. The new world had adopted the ideals and ways of these people, soon the world was full of businesses and corporations. Elementary and early middle school taught language, math, science. High school and college taught Economics and business. After graduating high school, students have the option of jobs. In the new industry-based world, these are the occupations one has to choose from:
-Business men/women, working their way up to CEO or becoming politicians or lawyers.
-doctors or scientists, creating new technology and discovering new ways to aide the massive companies that control things.
-farmers or other labor-based jobs like construction, etc.
Each occupation is run by government organizations called Sectors:
Finance Sector- in charge of businesses and companies.
Judicial Sector- in charge of the police force/military, lawyers and judges.
Medical Sector: in charge of hospitals and doctors.
Discovery Sector: in charge of technological and scientific advancements.
And Worker Sector: in charge of manual laborers, construction, and any other job that doesn't fall into the other categories.

Devon woke up, ate breakfast which consisted of a grey, bread-like nutrition block, and put on his school uniform: a pair of grey suit pants with a black belt and a white dress shirt that was tucked in and had no collar with a black tie that clipped to the second top button, black suspender straps pulled up his pants 3 inches above his ankles. A grey suit jacket with small shoulder pads, black business shoes with dark grey high socks. Devon combed and gelled his short brown hair into a middle parted style with some hair in the middle combed down his pale forehead.
The properly dressed boy grabbed his brown school briefcase and took the shiny silver bus to Verrwood high school. On the train he sat next to his close associate: Brenda Willop, who wore the female uniform: a long grey, stiff skirt with a black belt and a white dress shirt that was tucked in and had no collar with a black bow that clipped to the second top button, a grey suit jacket with small shoulder pads, black 2 inch business heels with dark Leggings. Her blonde hair was tied back in a long hair bun on the back of her head that went ear to ear. She was his age and had the same brown briefcase as Devon.
"Mr. Werand, good morning. Are you ready for the day?" She said in an pleasant yet almost monotone voice.
"Good morning to you, Ms. Willop. I ready for the day, thank you, and you?" He responded in a similar, polite tone.
"Yes I am, thank you." She said and the two turned to face forward.
Devon and Brenda had been friends since elementary school, but they were classified as "close associates" by society's expectations, the closest they could publicly be was married. But Devon and Brenda had decided to think about marriage after they had finished college. Except once married, Brenda would not be able to reach CEO, the highest she could get then would be Assistant Director. But Those restrictions wouldn't apply to Devon, and he could reach CEO and make a lot of money for their family. The 16 year old boy didn't think that would be very likely, Brenda had big goals in mind like him, he didn't want to ruin her career's future with marriage unless she really wanted to, but again she had big plans.
The silver transport arrived at their school where they went to first period: the ethics of industry.
