Moon Lake, Andersons: "Our future?"

added by The Masked Writer 5 years ago A

{{Special thanks to my girlfriend's brother and his boyfriend for help with this installment.—tmw.}}

Two werewolves in love.
That's what anyone would have thought, seeing Nate Anderson walking paw in paw, side by side, with his boyfriend Alex Ramsey.
Granted, in any place but Moon Lake, the sight of two werewolves walking upright would have caused quite a stir.
The fact that they were two male werewolves in love? Nobody gave a second thought.

"This is nice," Alex commented, as they walked back to his place from the high school gym, now that the 2015 Halloween dance had ended.
"What is?" wondered Nate, turning to look at his lupine lover.
"Us. Just out and about like a normal couple."
"What? We're not normal?" Nate asked mockingly, before staring at what he could see of Alex and himself. "Oh no! We're werewolves!" he said jokingly.
"Come on Stud," said Alex, using his pet name for Nate, "you know what I mean."
"Unfortunately, I do," conceded Nate. Then he stopped and turned to face Alex. "But seriously Handsome," Nate said, using his pet name for Alex, "does it matter?"
"To me? Never," replied Alex. "The rest of the world..."
"Fuck them!" was Nate's answer. "Different skin tones. Different religions. Just not being what the other person considered normal. The history of the world was full of bigotry and hate long before the existence of same gender couples was even confirmed, let alone made public."
"Because they had to hide in fear of being discovered," Alex pointed out.
"Which is the same position weres have too. You know what might happen if the world discovers weres actually exist."
"Unfortunately, yes."
"I'm out, and I'm proud, furry or otherwise," said Nate with a smile, before the werewolf started howling happily.
Alex just smiled and hugged his boyfriend.

When he finished, Nate took a more serious look at Alex and said, "What's wrong?"
"Specifically? Nothing. It's just that over the last few weeks, the political course of this country seems to be taking a more dramatic shift as we approach the primaries next year for the 2016 Presidential elections."*
"How so?"
"Seems to be a lot of growing resentment, if not outright hatred, building out there," observed Alex.
"Like someone's trying to stir up the rabble rousers?" asked Nate.
"Yeah. Any differences between people are being noted and commented on again, whether they matter or not."
"Come here honey," said Nate, pulling his lover closer. "I love you. You love me," he said, as the nose of his lupine muzzle touched Alex's. "There is always going to be trouble in the world. That can't be helped. But the two of us together... We'll get through it."
Then Nate kissed Alex.

When their muzzles parted, Nate said, "If my mom was here, she'd tell you love is the strongest emotion there is. Hate may have it's victories from time to time, but in the end, love conquers all. Besides, we already have a good idea what lies in our future," he added, referring to both their shared prophecy dreams and the fact that each of them had dressed up as the other for Halloween.
"And we have Alice in our future too," realized Alex, remembering the name of the five year old orphan the couple would wind up adopting once they were married and well into adulthood and their professional careers.
"We can't let her down," agreed Nate. "By the way, would you like more than just her?"
"What do you mean?" wondered Alex, staring at his boyfriend.
"Especially considering the length of the average were's lifespan, there's no rule that says we can't adopt more than one child during our lives, is there?"
"Not to my knowledge Stud," replied Alex, before kissing Nate again.

When their muzzles parted again, Alex took stock of their surroundings and said, "Do you know where we are?"
Nate just smiled, grabbed Alex's paw in his, and led him down Wood Street and in-between the Anderson and Twist residences.
There, they climbed the hill that separated Nate's "subdivision" from Alex's, considering that Moon Lake was basically one giant community in a wagon wheel pattern.
When they reached the top of the hill, the two werewolves looked at each other.
"I love you," they said to each other, before kissing again.
What little clothing comprised their respective Halloween costumes was soon removed as they laid down on the grass, still holding and kissing each other.
But holding each other was not enough, and soon paws started caressing their mate's fur.
Kissing wasn't enough either, as they switched positions and found themselves staring at the other's crotch.
Tongues began to playfully lick their lover's shaft, which were quickly growing hard and appearing out of their furry sheaths.
Soon Nate and Alex were orally pleasuring the other's red rocket, urging each other to climax.
As if as one, both blasted off together.
Then the werewolves howled in unison, expressing both their happiness and love for each other, before resuming their night of love making until the sun rose to herald a new day.
