"Kellie, whether you like it or not, I'm coming in." Katie determinedly said as she opened Kellie's bedroom door.
"I told you to go away." Kellie said as she cried into her pillow.
Katie came over and sat down on Kellie's bed and took a deep breath before speaking.
"I don't like that I had to hear how you feel about me from Ashley and Jennifer. You could've told me how you felt about me before, I know you had plenty of chances but you were really worried about how I would react when you finally said it. We're both at an age when we're still trying to figure out who we are. I want you to know that you're still my best friend, I will always love you as my best friend, but I don't think I could be attracted to you the way you're attracted to me but I want you to know that there is someone out there for you. Someone who will love you the way you want to be loved and I'm sorry that I can't be that someone for you." Katie said to Kellie as she wiped her tears from her eyes.
"Thanks, you did always have a knack for finding some way to cheer me up." Kellie thanked Katie smiling at her.
"I'm sorry that I won't be the first girl you ever get to date." Katie again apologized.
"It's okay, I'm sure I'll find someone."
"However...." Katie said before pausing.
"However? However wha...." Kellie began to ask before Katie gently held Kellie's face and kissed her on the lips.
"You can still say I'm the first girl you ever got to kiss." Katie said as she pulled away.
Kellie's eyes were gleaming at what had just happened.
"Now, what do you say we change Ashley and Jennifer back to being the brats they really are?" Katie suggested holding up the ring.
Kellie shook her head as she placed her hand over the ring.
"No. No more age changing today, I don't like that they've become mean popular girls but it's sort of because of them that they helped me realize who I am. So please, no more age changing today." Kellie asked.
"Alright." Katie nodded as she began walking out the door.
"Hey, could you tell my parents to come in? I need to tell them." Kellie asked.
"Of course." Katie nodded with a smile.
Katie saw Maggie talking with Lee and looking a little worried.
"She's okay now, but she needs to tell you both something." Katie said as she waved goodbye to the two of them before heading home. Katie forgot to mention that her kiss with Kellie was also her first kiss. She now when home and closed the door behind her, even though she didn't have the same feelings for Kellie as she had for her, she sighed with a smile on her face.
"What are you so happy about?" Katie's Aunt Lisa asked as she walked by.
"I...I just had my first kiss." Katie admitted.
"Really? Did you like it?"
"Yes." Katie said as she went to her room.
