Changing his nationality didn't bother him that much. He's actually excited to experience a new life. He's excited to see what his father look in High school. He started checking boxes:

He then changed the speed of the transformation.

And then he clicked enter.
"Let's Check on my 'soon-to-be-best-friend' then" He chuckled and left the Chronivac to it's work.
He went out his room and looked for his dad.
"Dad?" He called
"I'm watching TV!" Mike answered.
Matt then walked down the stairs and into the living room. He saw his dad there, sitting on the sofa, watching a football game. He sat beside him and grabbed a can of softdrink.
"Is something wrong? I mean, this wad the first time you sat to watch football" Mike raised an eyebrown at Matt.
"Nothing. I just wanted to spend some time with you today." Matt answered and grinned.
After a few seconds. It suddenly got hot. Matt knows that his Dad feels the same thing since he was sweating in beads.
"Wow. Did it suddenly got hot?" Mike said. He stood up and waked towards the air conditioner. "I'll just lower the temperature."
After getting satisfied with the cool air, he walked back to sit beside Matt. Matt, on the other hand started to notice that his dad's hair started to lose its gray streaks. He noticed that Mike was getting a little thinner too.
It happened so fast. Each year was getting ripped off Mike. His fat and the muscles hiding under them shrank and he became thinner. His body lost the wrinkles that time gave him. He shrank in height as well and he became 5 ft. 11 in. The baggy clothes he was wearing shifted themselves into clothes more suiting for his new age, 15.
And so, the man before him was now a teenager.
As for Matt. His skin became paler than hjs recent skintone. He didn't shrank in height that much. But his muscles that he worked for years disappeared and he was left with a thin body. His hair turned from blonde to black and lengthened into a bowl cut that most South Korean high schoolers have. His eyes got smaller and turned from blue to dark brown. He finally noticed his changes and his clothes shrank to fit his body too. His vision then became a bit blurry but this cleared up as a round eyeglass appeared on his nose.
Reality changed and now, they are two independent highschoolers, living in a condominium, watching a horror mobie on their TV.
"Holy Fuck dude!" Mike, in his higher - but still deep - voice, screamed. "He should've not opened that book!"
Matt, contented with their changes, leaned back on the small sofa. His new memories started to fill his brain. He remembered all the happy memories with his best friend, Mike.
"Mike. What the fuck are you screaming for?" Shouted a man from the kitchen. As Matt remember, it was Alex, their companion in this condominium and Mike's older brother in the age of 28.
Matt, remembering about the Chronivac, hurried to his new room. There he saw the Chronivac, still well and flashing a message.
"Transformation Complete"
