No sooner had Dan walked inside and set down his/her purse did the phone start ringing.
"It's about time!" he/she said and picked up the phone saying "Vicky, we
need to straighten things out now!"
It wasn't Vicky though, but the kind man that got his/her purse back.
"Oh, umm, hi, sorry." Dan said. "I was just joking around."
The man didn't seem to care and they continued talking for almost an hour. The man introduced himself as Jim and told her(Dan) that he could stop thinking about her and could they have dinner together tonight.
Dan/Dani didn't have anything planned and a free dinner sounded good so she agreed.
