After exerting yourself so much yesterday, there's no way anything's interrupting your sleep short of the house catching fire. You wake up to the morning sun streaming through your bedroom window, with a vague impression that there were some noises outside the cabin last night. Whatever it was, it seems to be gone now. Probably just another squirrel running around on the roof.
Rubbing the crust from your eyes, you get up out of bed and head over to small kitchen and dining room combo at the front of your cabin. It's pretty small, but it's plenty for someone living alone out here. God, you're hungry. Yesterday must have taken more out of you than you thought. Time for breakfast.
