"You want me to do what?!" asked Sarah with shock.
Jenny sighed, perturbed that she had to repeat herself.
"You know Missy, right?" asked Jenny.
Sarah rolled her eyes. Of course she knew Missy. Ever since some scientists had created the hybrid creatures five years ago the large anthropomorphic cows had been all the rage. They were not killed for their meat (at least not publically) but their milk was a very tasty - and very expensive - commodity. The things kind of creeped out Sarah, but that didn't stop her from visiting her friend Jenny on her small farm.
"Well, Missy is .... missing. And I was supposed to take her to the dairy today. My Dad is gonna kill me if we don't show up," continued Jenny.
Sarah could understand why. The hybrid cows cost a pretty penny. She was a little surprised that Jenny's father could afford to purchase even one. Her milk output probably helped keep their small farm afloat. Without it ... well, it would probably ruin them and the family would loose their home.
"So you want me to help you look for her?" asked Sarah.
"No, we don't have time for that. We are already running late. I was hoping you could... fill in for her, " said Jenny sheepishly.
"That's what you said the first time. But I thought I must have misheard you. Even if I wanted to do it, I don't think anybody would ever believe I was Missy," said Sarah.
"They would if we used this," said Jenny, holding up a strange medallion.
"And what is that?" asked Sarah.
"It's called the Medallion of Zulo. It has the power to change people, to alter their bodies in mysterious ways. While wearing the medallion, if a piece of clothing comes in contact with it the wearer will transform into the previous occupant of the clothing's body, be it human or .....animal, " said Jenny with excitement.
"Bullshit!" said Sarah. "You can't really believe that mumbo jumbo?"
Jenny blushed, her face flashing a bright red.
"Let me guess - you have already tried it," said Sarah.
"Just a few times. Enough to know it really works, " said Jenny.
"Let me see that thing," said Sarah, reaching for the medallion.
Jenny reeled back, shielding the medallion from Sarah.
"Easy! Be careful, " said Jenny. "If you touch it to another person, you will change into each other's bodies. And you can't use it again for 12 hours."
Sarah put her hands on her hips, still eying Jenny skeptically.
"So, what's the plan then? I'm supposed to touch this thing to something that Missy wore and take her place," said Sarah.
"Just for today. I'm sure Missy will show up eventually. But I need to take her to the dairy right now, " said Jenny.
"Then why don't you just use it to become Missy yourself?" said Sarah.
"Then who would take Missy to the dairy? It would be a little suspicious if she drove herself. And they are expecting me to bring her," said Jenny.
"Well, if it works like you said then I could become you and you could become Missy. Problem solved," said Sarah.
"You? Be me? Do you even know how to get to the diary? Or the people who work there?" asked Jenny. "Besides - I already used it on myself today."
"You don't look any different to me," said Sarah as she carefully examined Jenny.
Jenny blushed again, her face becoming an even deeper shade of red.
"If you touch an unworn piece of clothing against the medallion, it will transform the wearer's body to the specifications of that piece of clothing. In other words, you can modify just a part of your body, kind of improve something that used to be considered a little inadequate by some people," said Jenny, almost glowing red.
Sarah finally noticed what was different - Jenny's breasts looked bigger. Sarah never thought there was anything wrong with them, but she knew that Jenny had always been embarrassed with her B cups. Now Jenny's breasts seemed to be practically busting out of her shirt. But surely it was just her imagination. Magic didn't exist. Jenny was just playing a joke on her.
Or was she?
"Forget it! This is just too weird," said Sarah as she stood up to leave.
"Wait! I'll pay you 50 dollars!" said Jenny desperately.
"What?" said Sarah, pausing at her friend's door.
"Listen. Just touch the medallion to Missy's collar. If nothing happens, I'll give you fifty dollars and you can leave. But if it works you have to come to the dairy and pretend to be Missy. And I'll still pay you the fifty dollars when we get home, " said Jenny.
Sarah thought it over. She could really use the money. And it had to be some kind of trick. There was no way it could actually work.....
"Make it a hundred and you have a deal," said Sarah.
"Done!" said Jenny with excitement, smiling like a loon.
Sarah's eyes were drawn to Jenny's chest. It really did look bigger.
"And when we get back I get to use the medallion to improve my body in any way I want," said Sarah.
"Sure, whatever you want," said Jenny. "With the right clothes you can be taller, shorter, thinner, bigger.... well, like I said whatever you want. Just grab that collar on the table...."
Sarah picked up a large collar off Jenny's table. The loop seemed really big, but the cow hybrids were very big animals. The strap was thick with a big bell attached to it. The bell jingled when Sarah moved it.
Well, that will get annoying quick, thought Sarah. Wait - you can't really believe this will work.
Sarah looked at Jenny's face, a mixture of desperation and excitement. It made her seem a little mad.
Maybe this isn't such a good idea, thought Sarah.
