Altered Fates

Morning After

added by Anonymous 5 years ago A Canine

Although he tried to get to sleep, Jared found Mitzi's scent, wafting on an evening autumn breeze from her home a few blocks distance, too distracting.

Jared whimpered and tried to burrow his head in the old cushion inside his doghouse. Now that he'd caught her scent, however, his brain wouldn't let go of it. As a horny teenager, the solution would have been simple. A quick jerk would have taken the edge off his frustration. Without hands, he had to come up with an alternative. Around midnight, Jared found himself licking at his own balls. In turn, that attention caused his doggie dick to peek outside its furry sheath.

He whimpered and licked the emerging dick. The resulting sensations, combined with the heady feelings triggered by Mitzi's lingering scent, made him whimper like mad. At the same time, his memory played back Wepwawet's warning that embracing his animal urges would hasten his devolution into full dog.

At this very second, licking at his own balls and dick, Jared didn't care. He had to have some relief. He started humping the cushion with his furry thighs. His doggie dick slid between the shabby foam of the old cushion until he felt the short-lived release as he let his doggie seed soak into the cushion.

Panting hard, Jared finally found he could relax. He slept, untroubled, quite soundly. His dreams, though, were not quite human.

The next morning, he waited to patiently for one of his humans to exit the house. A few times he suffered the disappointment of dashed hopes when a door failed to open. After a couple of setbacks, he sat on his rump if, for no other reason, to stop himself from wagging it back and forth every time he thought he heard the back door open.

A big beetle scurried on the ground and the sheepdog investigated. He used his nose to poke the bug, which changed direction and scuttled off. He used his tongue to swipe the bug off the ground. He crunched the bug between his teeth. He liked the crunchy texture, but the bug tasted bad and he spit the mangled beetle onto the ground.

He drank some water hoping to diminish the bitter taste of bug. Jared was still lapping water from his dish when he appeared with breakfast. Jared's feelings warred as he warily watched.

"There you go, Shaggy," the impostor said. "Breakfast."

Water dripping from the fur beneath his chin, he gave the impostor a surly stare.

"You know me, boy," the impostor said and held out a hand for Jared to sniff.

"I'm your master," the impostor said, unable to completely remove the gloating tone.

He sniffed the hand. Then, without thinking, just letting his instincts control his actions, he licked the hand. Licking felt good, and his hindquarters wagged. Master laughed and patted his head. He sat the food dish on the ground.

"Gave you an extra treat," he said, indicating the bacon strip garnishing the dog food.

Finally, something to get rid of the taste of bug. Jared dug into his breakfast with gusto.

Kevin appeared at his brother's side. "Looks like Shaggy was hungry," Kevin said.

"He worked up an appetite yesterday."

"What did he do?"

"Let's just say that Shaggy has a girlfriend."

"A girlfriend?" Kevin sounded confused. "Jared, what do you mean?"

Jared heard his name. The name still tugged at him. He looked up from the dish. "I'm Jared," he barked.

The impostor considered and revealed the truth to Kevin about the request from the neighbors. "Maybe you can have one of the puppies," he said in conclusion.

Kevin's face lit up like Christmas morning. "A puppy!" Kevin exclaimed. "That would be cool!"

Yesterday's romp with the chow came back into his awareness. So did a surge of resentment that he had been put out to stud by his own father.

"I'm not a dog!" Jared barked.

The brothers looked at him. He barked again. It was like a dam burst.

"Kevin, please. You've got to help me! It's me! I'm the real Jared!"

"We better get to school," the impostor told Kevin.

Kevin gave his dog a pat on the head. "Hush, Shaggy. If you keep barking, you will just aggravate mom."

Jared felt compelled to obey.

The impostor grinned. "Have a good day, Shaggy."

Jared lost it again. "I am NOT Shaggy!" He barked. He continued barking as the impostor and his real brother walked to the car that had belonged to him. He watched the car drive off.

"No!" Jared howled. "I'm NOT a dog!"
