Nat picked up the metal halo. It felt... dead. No. That's not right. I feel like it's asleep. The red gem embedded on it is no longer glowing. But were did Isaac get something like this? It doesn't feel like it's made of cloud. It feels... hard. Is this what Isaac meant by dirt?
'You can worry about that later. Right now, we must reawaken the ring of purity before-' Excalibur was cut off.
"What do we have heresss? Looks like a new addition to my garden."
Nat turned around to find Isaac standing up. Or rather, whoever was controlling him now. His eyes are no longer glowing purple. But now something else is different. Isaac's eyes are shaped into reptilian slits.
'Nat! Cover your eyes!' Excalibur shouted.
Nat instinctively covered her eyes with her arms. Her body glowed a blue aurora as Excalibur protected her.
Good thing that she did, because the basilisk soul used it's basilisk eyes to petrify Nat. Luckily, it's magic had no effect... for now.
'What is that thing!? Is that really Isaac?!' Nat asked.
'No.' Excalibur responded. 'Whatever that is, it's not Isaac. It's one of the many malicious spirits inhabiting his body.'
'Spirits!? As in plural? How did he get so many?' Nat inquired.
'I don't know. I do know what the metal ring in your hand is. I also know that his body is very unique and chaotic. But without any context, I can only speculate on how it works.'
Nat thought back to when Isaac explained his ability to absorb other creatures. At the time, she assumed the spirits are destroyed. But according to Excalibur, the souls of the creatures he absorbed seems to be stored in his body. It seems that without Isaac, one of the many souls he captured are wrestling for control...
Excalibur read Nat's thoughts and agreed with her reasoning. "It looks like be bust defeat this wayward spirit and reconnect the ring to it's body. Quick! Cast a ice spell with the hand that's holding me!"
Nat was alarmed. 'What! I only learned a ice ball spell! I never used it outside from my magic lessons!'
'Now's the time to use it. Trust me." Excalibur reaffirmed.
Trust Me. It's those damned words again. But nether the less, Nat did as she was told. As Nat focused on casting her spell, the baskilist strangly just stood there. As if it was focused on something else.
It took a few moments, but Nat was successful.
"STILLERA!" Nat shouted.
But instead of shooting a ice ball, The sword of Clarity transformed into a blade of ice! Strangely enough, Nat doesn't feel cold holding it.
'You can channel your magic through me. If I remember correctly, a reptile such as the basilisk possessing Isaac should be slowed down by the cold. Even if it's not a reptile anymore, it still has the muscle memory to unconsciously fear the cold. We can use that to our advantage!" Excalibur exclaimed.
But as he spoke, something strange was happening to Isaac's body. Scales of all colors started growing all over Isaac's body from head to toe. His hands and feet grew claws and began to resemble the paws of a reptile. His tail split into two flailing reptilian tails. Due to the corruption adsorbed by the air dragon, he grew a pair of glorious western dragon wings capable of flight. His twin dicks slid into a new reptilian slit. And finally, Isaac's head morphed to resemble a dragon's head. Complete with glorious dragon horns of legend, a enlonged dragon neck, a wolf's snout, reptilian ear holes, and a basilisk's flickering snake tongue to match the glowing basilisk eyes.
The basilisk reformed Isaac's body into something more fitting for a reptile. He is now a dragon man.

With the help of Excalibur, Nat charged in with her ice sword and slashed dragon Isaac across the chest.
"Ahhssssssssssssssssss!!!" The Basilisk screamed.
Taking advantage of the Basilisk's stunned state, she once again climbed up Isaac's huge body and placed the dormant halo on top of the dragon man's head.
The metal ring flashed to life as the red soul gem tries to reclaim the body. But something was wrong. The basilisk was struggling more then it should. So the soul gem on Nat's sword of Clarity glowed a brilliant blue as Excalibur tried to re-link the ring to the body.
But Excalibur quickly realized something was wrong. Isaac soul was dormant for some reason. And no mater what Excalibur does, he can't seem to reawaken the red soul. Soul he did the next best thing. The green soul inhabiting the ring was wide awake. So Excalibur connected that soul to Isaac's body.
Isaac's body suddenly shut it's eyes and fell over, bringing Nat and Excalibur down with it.
Nat landed on the stone steps with a thump.
"Owwww..." Nat complained.
When Nat was done rubbing her sore bum, she crept up to Isaac's unconscious body.
'Did we do it?' Nat asked.
'I'm not sure... there were two souls in the ring...' Excalibur explained.
'What do you mean by two souls in the ring! You never mentioned that there were souls in that ring!' Nat mentaly exclaimed.
'I did mentioned red soul gem did I? What did you think I was implying?' Excalibur questioned.
But before the two could argue, Isaac's reptilian body sat up. It simply scratched it's head and examined it's body. It doesn't seem like the basilisk was in control anymore. The metal halo was floating over Isaac's head again.
"Isaac?" Nat asked.
"What are you blabbing about you brat! My name is Ilivir!" Ilivir exclaimed through his new reptilian maw.
