( Note: Just to make this a bit easier for me to read, you will most likely notice that 'you' has been changed to 'I'. Anyone can change it back. )
I rested for a little while more. *Whew*! { Flying is certainly tiring! } I thought to myself. Perhaps I should just stay for day here...
You already know that I am Snowy, of the Ice Dragons. And that I breath ice, not fire, so let's continue.
Who could be burning the poor villagers' caravans? Obviously not an ice dragon.
Meantily, I went through the veryus types of known dragon species, trying to eliminate any that could not have done this... Besides my kind, there were not many.
The Earth Dragons didn't breath anything, the Air Dragons could only breathe strong winds, the Nature Dragons were on friendly terms, the Water Dragons, obviously breathed only water, and the Lightning Dragons would come down just to breathe lightning! For them, that would be extremely inappropriate and hurt the honor of their race.
So that left: the Fire Dragons, the Mountain Dragons, the Crystal Dragons, the Common Dragons, the Swell Dragons, the Red Dragons, and the Dark Dragons.
All of those, I definitely knew, could breathe fire. The most likely was probably the Fire Dragons. It is in their name after all. Sadly, I had no idea how to even find the fire dragons to ask them. Not that I should really ask: " Hey there! Are you the ones burning the village's caravans? Really? Well now they want you dead! Just to let you know! "
That would certainly not end well.
I decided to do some scouting instead. Why figure out which type the dragon is, when you can just catch whoever is doing the damage?
So off I went. Spotting some local villagers, while trying the keep my exitment in check, I proceed in asking which way the fires had come from.
They pointed north.
So maybe it wasn't a fire dragon after all, the mountain dragons are the ones to the north!
•••
It was a short flight to the rocky hills twoards the north. Perfect for a dragon to hide out. Flying low over the grounds, I looked closely at the surrounding land. ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
" THERE! " I almost startled myself out of the sky! Who knew a dragon could surprise themselves with their own loud roar?
Derectly below me, was a small cave.
And that small cave had a gray, spiked tail sticking out of the opening.
It was a mountain dragons tail.
My theory was correct, now if only I could find some way to capture him/her...
