As you exit the rear of the trailer, you see April walking toward you on her hands and knees. "April!" you call. "Who's a good kitty?"
She smiles at you and purrs. "Well, here goes nothing!" you say, while pointing the remote at April and pushing the button marked "Human." April stops in her tracks; confused, she looks down at the ground and then stands up.
"Andy! What did you do?" she yells. "Why did you get your whole body painted like a dog? I thought we were just getting our faces painted! Do you like my cute kitty face?"
"I. You. What!?! I did get just my face painted! What are you doing painted head to toe as a neon pink cat?" you stammer. "You were just walking around on your hands and knees acting like a cat!"
Perplexed you both walk toward the large mirror at the back of the Face Paint O'Matic. Looking in the mirror, you are shocked to see she is right. "AHHHH! How did this happen to me? Why can't I remember?" you ask.
April gazes at her own body in the mirror. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEK!" she screams. I don't remember this at all!"
"The machine said these collars cause us to forget what we look like so we are not afraid of what people will think." you tell her. "I think that's what happened to us. These remotes control the collars; press this button and I'll forget what I look like."
"Can I try it?" she asks you. "Just to see if it works."
"Sure, just make sure you hit the human button to turn me back." you beg. "I'm gonna regret this."
April takes the remote from you. "I want to see you act like a real dog," she tells you. "Who's a good boy?" She pushes the button marked "Animal".
You feel a tingle around your neck. "Noooo!" you yell, but it changes to, "Ruff ruff ruff!" as you fall to your hands and knees. Your mind blacks out; are a dog now.
"Come" says April. "Sit" You sit at her feet. "Up. Shake" You sit up and stick out your hand, uh, paw toward her. She shakes it. "Gimme kiss" she says, leaning in. You reach up and lick her cheek. "More kisses" she says, pointing to her arms and legs. Excitedly you jump up, knocking her over. You begin to lick up and down her body. "Hehe that tickles" she laughs. "OK, I guess I should turn you back. She points the remote at you and presses "Human."
As you are licking her body, your thoughts become clear. You become aware that you are excitedly licking her stomach with your tongue, and that you are laying on top of her. You stop licking. "April! What did you do to me? What did you make me do while I was a dog?" you ask.
"Lets just say, it's a good thing you won't remember." she says, while pressing "Forget."
"I....." You stop mid sentence. "What was I saying?"
"Oh nothing, lover boy." she says. "C'mon, I'll drive you home."
"You know you look super hot as a cat. I'm having a hard time restraining myself."
"I know. I'm glad you like it."
As you walk toward the car, you start to notice that people are staring at you and April. You start to hear catcalls (no pun intended).
"MEOW, will be my kitty?"
"What's new pussycat?"
"Andy, I can't handle this! I don't like being a pink cat and getting all this attention! Make it stop! I want to forget!"
"Hold still," you tell her. You point the remote at her and press "Forget."
April looks at you confused. "What's going on? It sounds like all those people like me." she says.
From the crowd you hear, "Hey sexy kitten!"
April turns to the crowd and says, "MEOWW!" She claws at air. "I've never gotten this much attention before, they must really like me."
When you get to the car, you open her door and help her in. "Let's head home; it's been a long day." You drive away from the carnival, wondering how you are going to explain this to everyone.
