“Creator, if I may interrupt.” Ilvir suddenly spoke in, hopping off of the boulder he was sitting on, moving between Issac and Mary.
“What is it Ilvir?” Issac asked, slightly surprised at Ilvir’s interruption.
“I have a question for Mary, and I hope that she trusts us enough to tell us the truth.” Ilvir said, adjusting his hiking cloak.
“What do you need?” Mary asked, unsure of what the usually passive Ilvir wanted.
“Mary, I don’t know what your ultimate goal is and frankly I don’t care, however do you promise on whatever code of honor you’re people have here that you mean Issac or his goals any harm?” Ilvir questioned.
Surprised by the simple question, Mary paused for a second before answering.
“No, Issac, Ilvir, I’m sorry you two have suspicions of me but know that there many things I cannot say or tell you, in time I will, but for now trust me in that neither of you will come to harm.”
Ilvir nodded before turning to Issac, bowing his head slightly as he spoke.
“Creator, if you value this Nathan then I can go alone and retrieve him for you while you and the woman continue to the Sky King’s Castle.” Ilvir offered.
“Really? Are you sure you can handle it Ilvir?”
“Yes Creator, using our mental link I’ll head straight towards where Nathan supposedly went and bring him back to you without harm.”
Issac pondered a moment to think. Ilvir is strong and could certainly handle himself, but Ilvir’s plan has its risks. If Nathan was in some sort of trouble what could Ilvir possibly do to help? There’s always the possibility that Nathan had already left this plane although Issac found it unlikely since if that were true, the Corruption’s Source would’ve been destroyed long ago if Nathan had reached it. Which could mean he was either corrupted or... no, Nathan wouldn’t waste time dying, Issac thought, ridding his mind of those thoughts. He could always force Mary to go along with them but now that Issac knew for sure that Mary was hiding something, he wasn’t quite so sure if he could trust her in helping him with something personal. As long as Issac stayed focused on defeating the Sky King, he wouldn’t need to worry about Mary doing anything drastic.
Issac sighed before saying “Ilvir, using our mind link head to Nathan’s last known whereabouts and find him. He likely won’t know who you are so be parted to protect yourself but do not harm him and also for the love of the light, please don’t try to corrupt him or do anything sexual.” Issac commanded.
Ilvir nodded. “Your wish is my purpose my Creator, if I fail please come and give me a proper punishment to make me atone for my failure.” Ilvir said with a wink.
