The Cheetah-dragon-eagle paused, then it spoke, sort of.
*Grrrrr... chirp?*
Charleen and I looked at each other.
Why wasn’t it going on a rampage or something?
“Maybe it’s trying to say hello?” Charleen inquired.
I shrugged.
How was I supposed to know?
[[ Well, that answers That question.]]
A deep, but female voice said out of no where.
“What in the world?!” I cried, was I hearing voices now too?!
“Who said that?” Charleen asked, though she still sounded unafraid.
[[ I did. ]]
I glanced over my shoulder and
looked twoards the wall.
[[ No, you silly human! I’m not a wall! Over here! The creature in front of you! ]] the voice exclaimed.
Instantly Charleen and I were facing the Cheetah-dragon-eagle.
[[ That’s better. ]] it apparently said, almost seeming to nod.
“What-what do you want?” I asked, forgetting I was even the one who brought it into existence, er, her.
It was clear by the voice that the Cheetah-dragon-eagle was a girl.
Charleen said nothing, but proceeded to listen.
[[ The question that should really be being asked is: what would you
like? ]] she answered.
“I don’t understand what you mean.” I told her.
Maybe she had hit her head in the process of becoming real or something.
The Cheetah-dragon-eagle looked slightly less than impressed.
[[ You brought me to life, so You command me. ]]
Suddenly, it all clicked.
I was her master.
Maybe this really would be as awesome as I thought it would be in the first place!
“Okay, right,” I said, still trying to grasp the feeling of being incharge of such a powerful beast,
“According to the card, you have the powers of: healing, teleportation, transformation, and of course, breathing fire. Is that correct?”
[[ Very much so. ]] she replied,
[[ What shall be your first
command? ]] ...
