So Sara pried open the flap of the envelope and pulled out
its sole contents
that tube
which looked an awful lot like a scroll that had been sealed
with two end caps,with a golden chain attached on one cap.
Strangely the letter head on the scroll wasn't
from
Dragon Scholars Acaaaademy
but something called
D-S SA
or in smaller print
Dragon-Slayer Slayers Academy
Without thinking
Sara pulled on the Golden Chain to
pop off one of the caps
and she heard
a
SNAPPDD
for a microsecond
then the shower of sparks for another 3 seconds flying
out of the opened
end of the scroll and then the
massive dragon sorcery heat wave that
flung her into the air
She could feel a pressure inside of herself to get
bigger
and just as bones started to break and reposition themselves in her
growing body
she lost
consciousness
When she woke up she tried to shake the stars out of her
mind and nearly toppled
over again as she grew dizzy
as everything along her now much lengthier
spine wobbled loosely.
Slowly the sense of bones
about to break loose slowly
died away and Sara the Dragoness got her bearings
and swivelled her lengthy flexible neck to get
a better look at her
spiky scaly dragons tail
her bat wings
and other stuff that confirmed
she was a flame breathing
western dragon.
All around her staring at the newest student were
gryphons,a sphinx,a Cyclops and of course more dragons like her.
Along the walls in the hall she was in Sara could see the heads of heroes,their mouths agape in
surprise,mounted on wood like
deer head trophies.
Being a bright girl dragon
Sara figured it out quickly
She was in Dragon-Slayer Slayers Academy
where she and the other dragon students were going to learn
to slay Dragon-Slayers
such as her brother Stan was fated to become.
The voices of several fellow students materialized
in Sara's mind
and she realized
the gryphons,sphinx and Cyclops were lso here to learn how to save
their skins
lest Stan and other Heroes came looking for them
