With the Super Bowl being the first weekend in February for 2018, there was a lot of prep going on. The main thing that was being prepared for in Animalia was the Half-time show that starred both Canary Diamond and Aqua Marina, because otherwise there would be very few members of Animalia watching the sport proper, mainly because they didn't see any point in the sport.
But there was still some amusing things going on in Animalia, some more innocent than others:

"...so I told my dad, 'Giganthropus?'" said one young orangutan Animalian to a visiting tourist, "'But she barely even knew us!" after some laughs between the two of them, they met one of the gorilla Animalians. "Hey, Bonobo." said the young orangutan Animalian.
"Greetings and salutations, Manchu Jr.." said Bonobo.
"What are you doing hiding in the bushes?" asked Manchu Jr..
"Trying to avoid her." said Bonobo, pointing at a female gorilla Animalian.
"I don't recognize her." said Manchu Jr., "Is she new?"
"Yes, she's a 'donation' from Cameroon." answered Bonobo, "I hear she had severe illness before coming here."
"So why are you hiding from her?" asked the tourist, "She's still contagious?"
"Because she might be the one." replied Bonobo. On seeing the confused look on the tourist's face, he explained, "We lowland gorillas mate for life, and to be honest, I'm not sure if I'm ready to make that kind of commitment."
On hearing that, a visiting blues musician came over and commented, "I hear ya man. That's the way with women." and with that, he began singing the blues song from The Muppet Movie, "You can't live with 'em, you can't live without 'em".

Another guy was enjoying a date with a penguin Animalian at the all-you-can-eat fish buffet, when the perfect example of a first-class, inappropriate-B-word ex-girlfriend showed up.
"Well what do we have here? Lovebirds pecking around?" she said, her glasses seeming to flash white in the restaurant's lights.
"Uh... Waiter, waiter! Check, please. Now!! Arriba! Schnell!" said the guy, looking like he was face to face with the branding iron from Tolkien lore with the infamous name 'Old Scorchy'.

Maggie came out to deal with a little disturbance at her school, where one younger brother was trying to dissuade his older sister from joining.
"You know gramps doesn't like the people who come here." said the boy.
"And why would that be?" asked his sister.
"They way they dance around, he says," answered the brother, "seems to say, 'Weee! I'll twerk my booty cheeks and model bikinis for you rich men as long as you sign my checks because daddykins cut me out of his will."
On hearing that, Maggie's emotions got the best of her. He put the noodle-head in a cross-face headlock and began to squeeze. "You really thing it was that easy for me to get to where I am now, Dillweed!?" Normally such an act would be a major write-up, but fortunately someone looking to advertise Animalia School of Modeling managed to get her off with a warning as long as they used the footage for what ASM is NOT about.

Ralph had just put Jake to bed in his new nest/bed when he found something very startling. Annie in daring lingerie and beckoning him over. He didn't need to hear his wife's slurred words to know what she had done after they were converted; the scent coming off of her was enough.
"C'mun Ralphie. Let's nut hope yuuu live up tu yer old nikname." she slurred.
"While I'm glad for you getting a new job at Horizon Light Hospital while I got a job with the construction company, don't you think you might be a wee bit drunk?" said Ralph, cursing his new 20" malehood for enjoying the show and dearly hoping that Jake wouldn't hear and remember anything to happen.
"Dunn't be silly. Ahh yam en fuuul cuntrul. Now geet ova here beefur I change muh mind... >hic
