Now Max and Damon 2 tended to separate the nastier or weirder criminal side of their operation
from the less "bad" sides.
Hence the Crooked Horses room consisted merely
of bookies and cops on the take,as well as the odd
rock star.
The Night Mares,snuffings and the like weren't even allowed near
the Wiffle Corp building by
orders of Max,who had realized early
on that his demon fueled Creature
didn't posseess the human trait of common sense.
Though although Damon 2 wanted to have all night parties with various demonic monsters in that
Crooked Horses operation,Max
didn't think run-of-the-mill
bookies and cops on the take were quite prepared for that kind of stuff.
So Damon 2 gave a speech in the secret level telling the bookies
to keep up the good work
handed out sales perks to the bookies who had surpassed tht
months targets,then hurried out and up the secret tunnel to the secret parking garage where the car waited to take
him and Max to the tougher
job,mingling with killer humn gangsters
and flesh eating demons and vampires.
In the garage st the big 20 tonne armoured Model A Ford stretch car that Max and Damon 2 used
for these tougher criminal jobs.
Beside it stood 10 toughened human gangster
body guards with
tommy guns and
Alfred the Chauffeur.
They all piled in and whilst the hired guns kept a eye through the shuttered side windows for rival gangs
Alfred,a vampire from the Roaring Twenties
told Damon 2 and Max tht
President Trump was
planning to bring back the Prohibition of Booze
and maybe the Wiffle Gang aught to diversify from illegal
horsetrack betting
to making and selling booze?
Damon 2 never could tell if Alfred was joking,being serious or just a bit scrambled in his undead brain.
Then one of the boys spoke over the cars intercom
"Boss,I spotted a member of the Westie Gang as we passed that last intersection.He's good with explosives.Better be extra careful from now on"
Damon 2 though he was in human shape,whinnied in fear.
Though a actual explosive couldn't harm him,if it was laced with Holy Water,iron and silvr,that could
hurt him bad.
