As you look across the aisle, something stands out from the rest. For some reason you almost feel drawn to it. It's a two piece skintight suit which looks sleek and futuristic. The suit is black and covered in a faint hex pattern. Softly glowing lights glide across the honeycomb surface. You take the clothes to the front of the store.
To your confusion, there is no register, perhaps the store is outmoded? The old man behind the counter speaks up, "Hmmm, interesting. Would you like for me to explain how that suit is used?"
"Uh, yes- but first can you tell me how much it costs? I couldn't find a tag and it looks k-", you stop as you see the old man holding up his hand.
"It is free. Everything in this store is free in fact, but only for the right person", he tells you.
"Its all free for... me?", you ask confused.
He shakes his head slowly, "Don't be so self centered, each person will find something that is just for them. Fate is fickle and does what it pleases"
You suppose that explains how you felt earlier. The old man continues, "Now, that suit. That suit will allow you to turn someone, or something, into your slime clone. Whenever you please, you can change your body to match your clone, and your suit will change with you. You will be able to perceive through the clone and use it as if it were your own body. The clone can be sculpted, although it cannot change itself on its own. I hope you're artistic", he says with a smile, "Mass can be added to the clone by being absorbed. Once per day you will be allowed to 'un-slime' your clone, although it will no longer be under your direct control, so it would do you good to be careful when you do that. At any one time you may only have one slime clone"
You look between the shopkeeper and the suit, not entirely sure if you caught everything he said. You don't know what to make of all this, but it does seem like you could do some interesting stuff to yourself, or even to someone else.
