"It's my turn!" a voice shouted from the direction of the bedroom door. Luke recognized it as his ten-year-old sister Suzie's.
The four heads looked up from the Leapster and turned toward the door. Luke gave a raspberry, Max shook his head, Mark rolled his eyes, and Zack said, "Dream on."
That occurred just before the boys caught a glimpse of Suzie. Her body was nearly as wide as the bros', and she had four heads, too! The difference was that her heads were completely identical, and her shirt was a bright blue. But it still seemed as though Suzie was just one head, and that she had somehow gotten three new sisters. The question was, how?
The girls now had their hands on their hips, each of them looking frustrated. Then, each head cried out in unison,
"Mom!"
and then their body turned on its two legs to face the bedroom door.
"Oh, no," Luke thought, "Mom's home, too?"
Alisa and Suzie had left days ago when she first saw her son Luke in the conjoined twins suit he had just gotten, and now it looked as though she had come home! Sure enough, footsteps were heard coming up the stairs.
The four boys began to worry. What if Alisa had been across the street? What if she had seen her husband Ethan conjoined to his friend Scott? Had she seen Suzie with three sisters? How would she react seeing her son's friends--Scott's sons--in one body? And how would she react when she saw her son in that body with them?
