After some time, Ethan and Scott grew tired of reading--then grew tired completely. They passed out in a recliner with their two feet up, and their two heads slumped down onto their broad shoulders. Luke and Max had finished their homework, and Mark and Zack gave up with their video games. School was over by now, but all four boys had weaseled out of it due to their..."conditions". Luke and Max got up to go to the kitchen, and Mark and Zack followed behind them.
"Is something wrong?" Mark asked.
"No," Max said, "everything's fine."
"Well, it really seems that something is on your guys' minds," Zack responded.
Luke responded, "We want to be joined to you guys!"
"What?!" asked Mark and Zack simultaneously.
"Well, I miss being attached to Mark," Max said. "After all, he is my twin brother."
"Yeah, and I haven't been joined to Zack yet," Luke said.
Sometime later, after some convincing, the four boys walked their two bodies across the street to Luke's house--they didn't want their two-headed dad(s) to wake up and have the first thing they see be their sons in one body. They walked up the stairs to Luke's room--blue walls, posters, wall racks, two dressers, a table and chairs, and two beds in case Luke's sister Susie wanted to sleep in the room. Using their powers together, Luke and Max absorbed Mark and Zack into their body, and then absorbed themselves. As the body turned into a regular human body, one lone head remained--Luke's. He and Max had planned a specific way to create their new form; Luke followed through with this plan by reaching down and picked up a Leapster from off the floor. As a stood near his bed, he faced towards the larger dresser and began to act as though he were part of an old commercial.
"All I want is a video gaming system!" Luke said.
After pretending to fiddle with the Leapster, Luke's body--along with the jeans and red t-shirt--stretched to his left, until Luke's shoulders were 3 feet across. Then, through a new hole in the shirt a new head grew out of Luke's longer left shoulder--Max's.
"And a digital art studio!" Max said.
"Hey, dude!" Luke smiled.
"Dude!" Max laughed.
The two body bros did a little more fiddling with the Leapster, and then their body and clothes stretched to their left again, and another hole appeared over Max's shoulder. A new head grew out of it--Mark's. Mark was aware of what Luke and Max were doing--he was now a part of them--and decided to play along.
"And my own kicking video player!" Max said.
"Duuuude." Luke and Max smiled.
The three body bros played with the Leapster controls again; soon after, their body stretched to the left for a third time, resulting in a rectangular torso with six-foot shoulders. A new hole appeared over the wider left shoulder, allowed one final head to grow--Zack's--who was also aware of the plan and willing to play along.
"Plus, a comic-book reader!" Zack said.
Mark then belched into Max's left ear.
"Dude!" Max exclaimed.
"Sorry, dude." Mark apologized.
All four body bros then looked out ahead and exclaimed, "Only Leapster lets you have it all!"
The four body bros then stood in place, their four heads playing with the Leapster to see how though could control and share two arms. As they did so, they wondered what would happen or what they would do next.
