So I'm going to ssume that it is sometime in January 1961 on a somewhat skewed Earth
To borrow from a story universe I created about 18 years ago called
"Dragon Warp" dragons originated from a planet called Thera and have some kind of telekinetic
powe that when a awful lot of them work together,can be harnessed to move matter at fanastic speeds.
On Thera about 500 BC Earth time these dragons and inventive Talking Apes built
something called the
Ksi Kinetic Tractor
or
the "KT Starliner"
So these dragon colonists and those inventive Talking Apes flee Thera (due to explode) and
some of these early starships head for Earth.Something went wrong and although most of the bossy and "take orders from nobody" dragons parachuted to safety on
primitive Earth most of the Talking Apes,the folk
who actually knew how to build and fly a Starliner
went down with their blazing disintegrating crft
as the things plunged out of the sky and crashed to Earth
So its 1961 and everyone is well aware that such starships once existed and exploration teams
are digging up bits and pieces of the ships.
However after nearly 7 thousand years that
historical event has got mixed up in mythology and you're just as likely to find
myth with one of the "Dracaena Ships" ( Greek for "dragon) sailing through
the Clashing Rocks
with
Ulysses/Homer/Hercules/Jason and their trusty Talking Ape sidekick
duking it out with a dragon Scylla monster .So everybody is aware of such craft
but in 1961 haven't got around to building
a functioning Ksi Kinetic Tractor
even though telekinetic dragons are
all around to have their
mental abilities harnessed)
For Fafnirs sake you screeched as Prince Kizo again refused
your request for a complimentary
Zoo card,complete with a banking account and a access key to some of the
Zoo's locked gates
"We're not in the Dark Ages anymore,women have the vote"
However your Prince Kiyo still refused
and so it looked like you were going to be
dependant on someone elses card.
However a few days later Countess Gabbi Von Schloss,one of the beautiful dragon people
sent out invitations inviting various friends and VIP's in the Zoo to join her at the end of the week for
a viewing of the film
"Gunfight at OK Corral" which had
been produced by the Talking Ape
Charles Robert Darwin ten years earlier and had won a Oscar.
So you again wheedled away at Prince Kizo for your freedom ( and money)
and this time he relented and the next evening,whilst picking up the money from your
prison
the Talking Ape tapped your shoulder and gave you the coveted
'Card" which was a fairly big object about one foot long
nine inches wide and one inch thick
composed of glass wood tape reels ( this is 1961 electronics) and capacitors and resistors.
The Talking Ape told you not to let Prince Kizo teach you how to use
the Card,as your mate clearly had a interest in seeing your
wreck the thing and stay cooped up with him.
Instead the Talking Ape said he'd get one of the
Beautiful Dragon People Children
a Regin Fafnir
and a
Regina Fafnir
to visit you after midnight and teach you the ropes
of life in the Zoo outside of this cage.
And so
rather then falling asleep you just closed your eyelids and appeared to be asleep.
So it was that ten minutes before midnight you heard Prince Kizo
stir,the click as he put his Card
into the electrical cage door lock
slip out and close the door firmly so it
locked again,
Your mate didn't want you to have any freedom,you realized
with a awakening anger.
However you stayed still and watched as Prince Kiyo met with a other dragon and the two of them
walked away in the darkness.
Then came Midnight and shortly after two smaller
Beautiful Dragon People,obviously
Regin and Regina
came out of the bushe
and whispered you name...
