Just then Zach returned with a drinks for Amanda and himself. Rod accompanied him.
We perused the menu Rod had bought back and I decided that the calamari meal looked nice. Amanda and 'Zach' (really Sarah) decided to share a pizza while Rod thought a chicken burger would suit.
While the boys returned to the counter to order, Amanda caught me comparing their backsides "Cute aren't they" she said. In my current female body I could only agree. I steered the conversation to safer ground by asking Amanda about her job at a dress shop in town. This kept the conversation going until Rod and 'Zach' came back this time with a number for the table.
They had obviously been talking about footy and mentioned and Zach' said to Amanda that he had invited Rod around to watch a game on Saturday afternoon.
"Zach" she replied "Have you forgotten about the wedding?"
Sarah momentarily had a blank look on his face. I had not told him about Amanda's cousins wedding as to be honest I had forgotten about it with all the events of the last few days. We were flying out to Sydney on Friday morning and would not return until Monday afternoon. However that shouldn't matter as by then I would be back to been Zach i.e. myself. What was a problem was that I had forgotten to tell Sarah who was currently inhabiting the 'Zach' body. I couldn't let his ignorance give the game away.
"How could that slip your mind Zach" I said. Turning to Amanda "Zach was telling me about your trip when we introduced him to the puppy the other night. He told me you're off to Sydney and staying at Darling Harbour, how wonderful. Whose wedding is it? When do you leave?"
"It's my cousin Susie getting married. We fly out on Friday morning and come back Monday afternoon. We are booked into the Parkroyal hotel...... " Out came all the details and Sarah gave me a smile of relief.
We were still talking about the upcoming weekend when our meals were bought out. I was happy with my choice but found the quantity to be more than I needed.
When she had finished Amanda excused herself to go visit the ladies. I took the opportunity tell Rod and Sarah what Amanda had confided in me earlier - that she was planning to have sex with 'Zach' tonight. I admitted I did not particularly like the idea but would rather that than risk another thawing of the love affair.
Sarah said that in his current body he was very attracted to Amanda and would like 'go all the way' but only if Rod would give his permission.
Rod said the situation was very awkward to him as well. That it was the 'Sarah body' that he was most attracted to. If we all agreed to behave appropriately to the bodies we wore he would consent. There would be no recriminations once we were back in in our correct bodies.
Sarah said "I consent but any relationship must be the free choice of both parties. Do we all agree?"
Rod nodded.
I was in a dilemma. I could not pretend I was not attracted to Rod. Indeed very attracted. I felt a little disloyal to Amanda, for she was the ignorant of the medallion and what had happened over the last 3 days. I was giving Sarah permission to have sex with my Amanda, it also opened the door for me to have sex with Rod.
I believe I blushed deeply while nodding.
Amanda was back shortly after. It wasn't long before Sarah and Amanda said goodnight. It was arranged that 'Zach' would come over to Rod's tomorrow night and we girls would play with puppy while the boys went to Tuesday night basketball fixtures.
I felt pangs of emotion as I watched Amanda and 'Zach' leave with their arms interlocked.
As I watched them walk out to the carpark I felt tears in my eyes. I was roused from my mood by Rod touching my shoulder and suggesting it was time for us to go as well.
I was listless while in the car. What had I done? Had I made the right choice?
I was surprised when once the car had stopped that we were not at Rod's but at the McKenzie's house. I looked at Rod in surprise.
"I do want to make love to you, but only when you are 100% ready" With that he walked me to the door. Gave me a brief kiss and departed.
I stood there watching his car until it was out of site.
