“Subject changes saved,” Todd read with a smirk. As he looked around his dorm he could see the faintest of ripples spread out. He had altered reality so that Liz was now just an 18 year old girl who happened to be dating a mad scientist.
Looking down at Liz he couldn’t help but smile as the girl lovingly looked up at him. He watched as Liz checked her watch befor sighing. “Ugh I should head back home,” she groaned. “I have an early class tomorrow.”
Todd watched as Liz put her flats back on, the only thing left from the old librarian that he had not changed. As the young college coed slipped her feet inside the old fashioned flats she smiled. “Hey you wouldn’t mind walking me back would you,” she asked shyly. Todd grinned as he stood up. “Of course not Liz,” he said.
As the two walked across campus Todd marveled at Liz. The girl still walked stiffly as the two made their way. Liz kept a lot of tension in her shoulders as she walked. The girls gaze remained slightly towards the ground not wanting to make eye contact with anyone. The only difference between this walk and the one back to Todd’s room was the fact Liz now held Todd’s hand. Liz held Todd’s hand tightly as the two walked. Occasionally the girl would turn up towards Todd with a shy smile before blushing and averting her eyes.
“Well here we are,” Liz said quietly. Todd smirked as he looked at the dorm. The dorm was mostly for freshman with only a few upperclassmen. As he gazed at the three story building he could hear music and laughter emanating from within. “I...Uh...don’t suppose you’d want to come up for a minute would you,” she asked shyly.
“I’d love to,” Todd grinned. Liz smiled as she opened the door. “Might give me a chance to find some more test subjects,” Todd thought with a smirk. As the two ascended the stairs Todd could hear the sounds of women chatting happily within the halls. As the two entered the second floor Todd grinned as he saw numerous college girls happily going about their business. “This is perfect,” he thought as a girl in a towel passed him. “More than enough subjects to test.”
Liz turned shyly back as she opened the door to her room. As Todd entered he marveled at the room. Liz and her roommate had obviously divided the room evenly. Liz’s side was decorated with posters holding to her slightly geeky nature. A magical nature scene complete with water nymph hung on the back wall. Next to that was a poster of the universe and a picture of William Shakespeare complete with quotes. Todd immediately recognized this as Liz’s. On the other side of the room though was a complete opposite.
Liz’s roommate was a total opposite of her. A Greek life poster along with a discarded bottle of vodka adorned a desk while a poster of a topless Justin Bieber looked large. Todd smiled as Liz took her coat off, hanging it in a small closet. “Thankfully Beth is still at her soriety,” Liz mumbled. “Ugh can’t wait for next year. I so need another roommate.”
Todd grinned as he now thought of the chance to meet Liz’s soriety roommate. Before he could answer though the door flew open, turning he could see a blond knockout angrily glaring at Liz. “Hey freakazoid,” she spat. “Hope your loser boyfriend isn’t spendings the night. I told the girls they could stop by later. We got a lot of planning to do for the Greek festival next month.”
“T..Todd was just walking me home,” Liz stuttered as she glared at Beth. Beth glared at the smaller girl as she walked towards her. “That’s all it better of been,” she grumbled trying to make herself seem even taller than her 5’10” frame seemed. “You know the rule, no boys spending the night.”
“Didn’t stop you from having a fleet of guys here last weekend,” Liz grumbled.
“What was that!”
“Nothing,” Liz mumbled as she grabbed a towel and toothbrush. “Umm Todd I’ll be right back. I Uh kinda want to wash my face and brush my teeth before I turn in. Will you wait til I’m done?”
“Of course Liz I’ll be right here.”
Liz smiled meekly as she tried to make her way out of the room. As she did Beth made a point of bumping the girl causing her to stumble. “Watch your step dork,” She’s giggled causing Liz to frown.
Todd furrowed his brow as he looked at the soriety girl. He may like messing with Liz but he treated her kindly. As he now watched the leggy soriety girl laugh an idea began to form. Pulling out the remote Todd began thumbing through options, looking for the perfect way to teach this girl a lesson.
