“Oh stop struggling. You have no hope of escape I can assure you of that.” With that the pair of officers seemed to calm down slightly although they still glared at her with a mix of shock, hatred and fear.
The woman turned to another attendant and told him to fetch both the grey mare and the beige mare and to bring them ‘round back.’ Meanwhile the other attendants were instructed to follow her with the pair of helpless officers.
They all assembled in a smaller building away from the main stable. There were a handful of stalls in the building. The two mares were guided into adjacent stalls. They seemed remarkably calm thanks to the stable’s magic and the woman’s soothing words.
The female attendant addressed the two officers. “I am so tired of bumbling police officers coming in here, accusing me of kidnap, murder and much worse. I have killed no-one. Nor have I held anyone against their will. Therefore I am innocent of all of these charges. And yet you just keep coming, and so I have decided to exploit this regular supply of… raw materials.”
By this point the officers were getting increasingly worried. Not because they had been paying much attention to her words, but because they were convinced that this bitch was mental.
“So, let’s get down to business” the woman continued. With that, the pair were tied to chairs and positioned against the wall at the back of the two stalls housing the mares. The attendants removed the officers’ gags, which caused them to sputter out warnings about getting life in prison and such like. She just ignored these futile gestures for she knew what was coming.
“Now we have some introductions to make. Let’s see... this is officer Georgina” she said pointing to the petrified policewoman. “And this handsome young stud is Mark” she said to the other officer. “These lovely young ladies in front of you are… what are their names again?”
An attendant answered “we don’t know the thief’s former name but we thought ‘Sophie’ will do just fine. And you’ve been calling the beige one ‘Princess’ so we have been as well.”
“Excellent, let’s begin then.”
