Juliet and Raith waited back to the former's house, she wasn't shocked at what had happened, just pissed at her mother for driving when her license was suspended. The girl assumed her mother was trying to kiss up to someone at the church, she couldn't think of any other reason for dragging Juliet to church.
The dark haired girl was annoyed with the dress she was forced to wear, hopping Catori or someone wouldn't see her in the flowery getup.
Catori, or Cat, used to look after Juliet when the girl was younger and her mother would be out being irresponsible. Juliet thought of the 19 year old a her older sister and idolized her.
Raith on the other hand seemed to admire herself in the dress, swaying as she walked as to make the dress flow in the early morning breeze. They continued to walk when they passed the place where they saw the strange hooded man that Raith acquired the equally strange rings, which Juliet wore on a chain necklace, the blonde wore it the same way as her friend. The black haired girl fiddled with the weird peice of jewelry, it had a faint aura about it and ever since she started wearing it on the chain the freaky clowns stopped stalking her or whatever they were doing. The more Juliet thought about it she remembered the clowns were accompanied by this unmistakable essence, like a darkness was--
The 16 year old's thoughts were interrupted by her friend.
"Huh...what?" She stammered,
"I was asking where are you going to live if your mom's in prison?" The other girl asked,
"I mean, your were practically taking care of yourself already",
"Yea...I guess there's my aunt, she lives not too far from town but... I don't know..." Juliet said.
"I would offer to stay but, you know, my dad is usually too busy to take care of me." Raith responded.
"It's okay, I'll figure it out." Juliet answered,
"You can keep the dress."
"Thanks, not like you were going to."
"Right."
The two girls finally parted when they got to Raith's house, as Juliet continued along the sidewalk she feels as if there was some kind of presence following her, like a shadow, something of darkness. The girl started to trot the rest of the way the best she could in her heels. Juliet went on to her house, where she was greeted to an empty house, she quickly got out of the dress and shoes and went to sleep.
