Even though the changing human was freaking out, she knew that she had to follow the precautions, even if she didn't know the reason why. As she waited, the screams around her faded to more bestial roars and squeals, sending a shiver down her spine. A shiver that turned into a searing pain, as two thin wings burst out of her back. As painful as it was, there was no blood, and the pain faded as quickly as it began.
Harold took a few seconds to examine herself further, remembering that one of the most important things to do after getting hit was to determine what animal you were morphing into. Wings meant insect, which also explained why she'd lost another foot in height, but what kind of insect was still a mystery. As if the changes were stemming from her new wings, she felt her back harden into an almost chitinous surface, as she was suddenly inflicted with a nasty stomachache.
Watching in horror, she saw her chest and stomach cave in, while her butt felt swollen and bulging. Organs that weren't dissolving were shifting up into her new abdomen, making her top half feel empty as it segmented into several parts, her chest now a thorax. In the most painful part of the change so far, Harold felt her new abdomen get pierced by some alien object, and a nervous poke revealed it to be a sharp stinger. At least she now knew what she was turning into, as her abdomen gained a telltale set of black and yellow stripes.
The next to change was her arms and legs, as they thinned out into spindly limbs, turning an ugly shade of black. While she had a bit of hair on her legs, they gained a fuzzy fluffing of coarse hair, as her fingers and toes merged into sharp points. So enamoured was he with her changes that she didn't notice that she had another pair of limbs until they scratched an itch on her face.
Speaking of, it was the only thing left to change, as aside from her height and head, her transformation was complete. If there was any time to look for help, it would be now...
