The five teens got out of the ship and found themselves on a vast rocky landscape. It was dotted with craters in all directions, immensely hot, and the sun was much larger than it appears on Earth. They were on Mercury.
"I think I read once that temperatures for Mercury's daytime can reach over 800 degrees," Allen recalled. "Ty, should we be worried?"
"Remember, I wished up all this for us," Ty reminded the others. "We're perfectly safe as long as we're in our suits outside the ship, or in the ship outside our suits."
Suddenly, Dustin saw something move over by the rim of one of the craters. It must be one of the lifeforms that Ty wished up. Approaching slowly, the two parties met just fifty feet from the ship. The aliens were red with white bellies, they had long legs, and they seemed to walk like giant insects. They were covered in scales, and had large ears that looked like fins. Thanks to Ty's power, the teenage humans and the Mercurian aliens were able to communicate very easily, and the aliens were friendly with them, living up to the popular sci-fi quote "We come in peace".
"Would you care to visit our main city?" asked what seemed to be the leader of the alien party.
The boys were amazed: they would be able to see a real alien city?!
"Well, we kinda have to go," Ty said, "but we thank you for the offer."
"Actually," Steven interjected, "I could stay and see the city."
The other teens objected, wondering why Steven would leave them.
"You guys can come back later," Steven said. "I want to see what's cooking here."
The teens smiled at the pun, not wishing to directly offend their new alien friends. Bidding Steven farewell, the four went back to the ship and started off for their next stop.
But as they left Mercury and Steven behind, Ty wished for some of their other friends to appear in the ship with the four: Damion, Leo, Donnie, Raph, Mikey, Jake, Jaden, Ryan, and Bradley. The crew was now thirteen teenage astronauts, heading towards some "whole new worlds".
