Because of two very important archaeological finds in both Egypt and Brazil, a new, Animalian-based archaeological society was founded to help document what had been found, both in current and future colonies. Also, because of the importance of the finds, the History Channel immediately moved to "stake their claims" on both sites. When they got there, they decided to show the discoveries in the best way possible, as History Channel Specials.

The one from Egypt mainly featured Ahmose II, the "lost Pharaoh of Egypt", and his life in according to the records found in the small necropolis that had been found alongside the Animalia Colony. When the records were translated, it was discovered that Ahmose II not only expunged the Hyksos from Egypt and reunified Egypt under his rule, but he was also like the Charlemagne of Ancient Egypt, with Egyptologists joking that Ahmose II was Charlemagne's previous incarnation. Part of that was due to a record that had been found that after he reconquered the Nile Delta, he condemned 500 officials to death after they were caught worshiping the gods of the Hyksos. Some Theologians seemed to think that this grisly execution was what was mentioned as the first of the Ten Plagues of Egypt that preceded the Hebrew Exodus, but others weren't as convinced.
Another papyrus scroll that was found mentioned one of the earliest trade agreements in history between Egypt, the Nubians, and the Hittites. It seemed to detail how Egypt would trade food products with both Nubia and the Hittites in exchange for goods that weren't readily available in Egypt. This seemed to back up the commonly held idea that Pharaohs were very wealthy.
All together, the only Pharaoh that lived longer and achieved more than Ahmose II was none other than Rameses II. When the site where Ahmose II was buried was shown, it was revealed that the reason it wasn't plundered was not only because of the landslide that covered it up until now was "structurally unsound" in accordance to Ancient Egypt's reckoning, but also because of the great respect that Egypt had for Ahmose II. What was also revealed that the grave robbers of Ancient Egypt were more like state-sponsored robbers, building tombs when the Egyptian civilization was on an upswing, and plundering them when there was a downswing.

The other History Channel Special talked about the Lost City of Vilcabamba and its own archaeological site. Much of it was reenactments of the scenes found on the many funerary pots that were found there as well as computer reconstructions of the mummy bundles found there.
"In the old days," said one of the Archaeologists from Manaus, "We'd have to unwrap mummy bundles completely in order to learn anything about them. Now with modern MRI tech, we don't have to worry about either damaging ancient mummies and their possessions, or unleashing ancient diseases that remained in the bundles."
According to one pot, the archaeological site was where the ancient South American gods came from the sky to begin shaping the world, and then return whence they came when they were done. Ancient Alien theorists maintained that the mentioning of gods that "came from the sky" was proof that the gods of Pre-Colombian South America were actually misinterpreted extraterrestrials.
No matter how this was interpreted, many ancestors of Amazon River Basin tribes, as well as the ancestors of the Aztecs, Incans, and Peruvians, came here as part of important religious festivals to be as "close to the gods" as possible because of the importance of the site. Not only did they come here for religious worship, they also came here as a kind of neutral ground for trading of all kinds, partly because funerary ornaments from different tribes were found in different mummy bundles.

There was also a special meeting between Animalia Ambassadoria and the Animalia Council. What they wanted them to do was to visit the new colonies during Summer Vacation. This was because they wanted to preview the two newest African colonies before they officially opened, and also be part of the official excavation of Ahmose II's tomb.
