As Kellie now once again tried to calm Lisa and Ann down, Felicia, Jackie and Gloria took the opportunity to talk. “So what’s the plan now,” Jackie asked. Gloria looked the group over, thoughtfully rubbing her chin. “Well,” she mused. “Guess now we just have fun. Kellie will be here til the spell wears off Sunday. By then Lisa and Ann will be back to normal. Hopefully by then they’ll be closer.”
“Hope so,” Felicia mumbled. “I hate seeing those two fight, when you talk to them individually they seem okay. Together though they let the sibling rivalry thing just take over.”
“Probably doesn’t help that Lisa is a little younger than the rest of us eithe,” Jackie said. “Too bad she doesn’t have someone her own age.” Gloria’s face lit up as she now stared between Jackie and Felicia. “I think you might be on to something their Jackie,” she said. “And I know just the person to fit the bill.” Jackie and Felicia gave Gloria a curious look as she now focused her gaze on Felicia.
“Me,” Felicia exclaimed. “Why me!”
“Just hear me out,” Gloria said quickly. “Ann has already kinda bonded with Jackie and you and Lisa seem to have a lot in common. It just makes the most sense.”
“So because Jackie wants to be the Misery Mistress I have to get younger? That sucks!”
“Hey I’m not the misery mistress Felicia,” Jackie huffed. “I’m just trying a cool new look. You and Lisa are perfect together. You both like rom coms, girly stuff and clothes. Not exactly my thing.” Felicia frowned as she now looked at her friends. “Well why can’t it be Gloria then,” she asked. “Because I should probably keep from changing in case the Ring goes all wonky again,” Gloria sighed.
“Didn’t help when you turned into a mom,” Felicia mumbled, crossing her arms. Gloria sighed as she looked at the grumpy looking blonde. “Felicia,” she sighed. “It’s only one year younger. Besides it will help everyone out greatly. That is unless you want to wear goth makeup Ann?”
“Pass,” Felicia said quickly. Looking back towards the couch she sighed, realizing that it was the best option. “Okay fine,” she grumbled. “I’ll be 13 for the weekend but you two owe me Okay.” Gloria smiled, agreeing to make it up to Felicia when this was all over. Silently making a wish she now looked at Felicia with interest.
The changes to Felicia were almost imperceptible. The girl looked a little younger while her bust size decreased ever so slightly. As the changes completed she turned to the others asking if it was done. “Yeah it’s done,” Gloria said. “Congratulations your 13 again.”
Felicia groaned in frustration as she carefully looked herself over. “Ugh I hope this works I hated eighth grade last year.”
“You’ll do fine remember your doing this for Lisa.”
Felicia a nodded at Gloria as the girls now approached the girls. Lisa looked up, immediately motioning to Felicia. “Felica,” she exclaimed. “Can you please tell my sister that even though we’re not in high school yet we can do anything they can do.” Felicia winced slightly at the realization of her predicament before turning to Ann. “It’s true Ann,” she stated. “Lisa and I can do anything the rest of you can do.”
“Okay fine,” Ann sighed. “You two can join the rest of us. Besides I’m sick of all this fighting, I just want to have some fun. You know like we were all planning on doing anyway.”
“That’s very mature of you Ann,” Kellie said warmly. “It’s very nice of you to let Lisa and her...uh...friend join in. So what should we do.”
“How about a movie,” Gloria suggested. “Any ideas?”
“Rom Com,” Lisa and Felicia exclaimed.
“Art house flick,” Ann and Jackie responded.
“How about an old fashion horror movie,” Kellie sighed. “Nothing more fun than watching a scary movie with friends.” The girls looked at each other before nodding in agreement. Kellie sighed, thankful to have avoided another fight as the girls settled down. “Hey Gloria you want to help me get some food,” She asked. Gloria nodded as she now followed Kellie out of the room.
“So how am I doing so far,” Kellie asked nervously. Gloria shrugged, turning back to look at the four girls settling in to watch a movie. “Okay so far I guess,” she said. “I um used the ring to make Felicia the same age as Lisa. Hopefully those two having a friend over will keep the fighting to a minimum.”
“Let’s keep our fingers crossed,” Kellie sighed. “Apparently the ring wants me to help bring those two closer together but to be honest I have no idea what I’m doing.”
“You’ll do great Kellie,” Gloria said warmly. “I mean you always were great with me when you babysat me. This is kinda like that. I’m sure by the end of the weekend those two will be better off than they are now.”
Kellie smiled, tossing Gloria’s hair. “Thanks Glo,” She said warmly. “Really gonna need your help with this one. Never had to be a big sister before but if you and Katie think I can do it I’ll give it a try.”
Gloria smiled, giving Kellie a quick hug before ordering a couple of pizzas. As the girls now settled in Gloria could see Kellie settle herself in between Lisa and Ann. The girls now sat transfixed on the couch as they anxiously watched the movie. Gloria now hoped that Lisa and Ann could begin to repair their fractured relationship.
