Ty rests against the base of a tree that used to be a chain coffee shop, thinking about what his next move will be. As he closes his eyes and listens to the thoughts and emotions of his forest, he could recognize three times as many conscious minds inhabiting his considerably larger domain. Then he opens his eyes up and listens closely to the individuals around him, trying to pick out any specific concerns they may have. His former brother, now a simple grizzly bear, was missing a cave to hide in. The mating pair of boars, other than the tingling sensation in both their genitals, had a desire to roam across an endless expanse of grassland. An eagle wanted clearer skies to fly in. The majority of creatures had the same idea. More space to move and more nature!
Having given up his human language, Ty attempts to communicate with his group by grunting and making simple gestures. Loosely translated, Ty tells the animals that if the humans were no longer around, they'd never have to worry about destroyed habitats again. Ty can make it happen. But he would have to expend an enormous amount of energy, it would take a significantly long time, and it might be dangerous to approach him while he weaves such powerful magic. He wiggled his fingers and made a noise like fire, and the wildlife seemed to understand it. They all backed off in a wide circle around him, bowing respectfully to mighty power.
As a precaution, Ty burned up some of the grass around him with his magic, leaving a wide area of bare, dry dirt. With a gesture, he promises he'll put the grass back when he's all done. With everything all ready to begin, a great flaming aura appears around him as he powers up his magic to a true godly level. Even small rocks float up off the ground from the pure energy. Ty himself was in a deep, deep trance, having no awareness of anything going on around him. For now, he was merely a vessel for Mother Nature herself to remake the world.
Within seconds, a thundering crash of glass and twisted metal echoed in the forest. The animals scattered every which way, hiding in their habitats while magic radiated out from Ty's body. Panicked screaming could be heard, though drowned out by the crushing and crashing of demolition. Telephone poles snapped and fell easily, cutting off power to several cities away. And those cities had only a short time to panic before they fell into ruins too. Meanwhile, Ty remains in the same position, unmoving.
And there he stays for the next several days. In the interest of storytelling, the scene changes to a different perspective as the world of humans crumbles to nothing. Your choice.
