"A flashlight?" Alex murmured confusedly, "He gave me a flashlight?" Alex spin the flashlight around, looking it over curiously. As far as he could tell, the flashlight seemed. Then Alex noticed something. There was more than one switch on the flashlight. "Huh," Alex muttered, "Strange."
Looking even closer, Alex realized that each switch was labelled with a different symbol. The switch on the left had what seemed like a smaller box in a larger box. The switch in the center had the "pause" symbol. The switch on the right seemed to be labelled with a copy-paste image. "What does a flashlight need three switches for?" Alex asked aloud.
Just then, the front door burst open. "Wah!" Alex yelped, shooting to his feet. "Sup Dweeb!" came a annoyingly familiar voice. That was Sammy, Alex's older sister. Sammy would be described as beautiful, with her almost platinum blond hair, piercing green eyes, D-cup sized breasts, and full figure, but to Alex, Sammy was only a nuisance. Despite already being in college, it seemed that Sammy had never matured, as she always loved to play little pranks on Alex.
"What ya got there?" Sammy asked, poking her head over Alex's shoulder. "Nothing special," he said, "Just a flashlight." "Ooooooo..." Sammy cooed, reaching for the flashlight, "Lemme see!" Alex pulled the flashlight and stood up. "I never said you could touch it," Alex stated, turning to walk to his room. Sammy pouted a bit, but then smiled evilly. "Oh no you don't!" she shouted, pouncing onto Alex's back and knocking him to the ground.
"What the-GET OFF OF ME!" Alex shouted, struggling to push his sister off or him. "Give it here~!" Sammy shouted gleefully, trying her best to rip the flashlight out of Alex's grasp. "Stop it, you jerk!" Alex shouted, finally managing to shove Sammy off.
CLICK!
"What is wrong with you?!" Alex shouted, climbing to his feet and dusting himself off. Sammy didn't answer. "Seriously, you always do this!" Alex continued, turning to point at his sister, "Can't you just give me one break?!" Sammy just sat where she was stiffly staring off into the distance. "...Sammy?" Alex called, stepping closer, "You okay?" No response. Alex waved his hands in front of Sammy's face. She didn't blink. "Anyone in there...?" Alex asked, knocking on Sammy's head. She didn't even flinch.
"Uh... What?" Alex muttered, taking a step back. It was then that Alex noticed a beam of light originating from the flashlight in his hand. Looking closer, Alex realized that the pause switch had been flicked to on. "Did... did this do that?" Alex murmured. Tentatively, Alex waved the light back over Sammy. Immediately, Sammy leaped to her feet and giggled mischievously. "I'm not done with you yet!" she shouted, dividing at Alex once more. Alex waved the light over Sammy's body again.
To Alex's surprise, she froze in place midair. For a moment, Alex stared at the scene, glancing back and forth between the flashlight and his sister. Slowly but surely, a smile spread across Alex's face. "I think I'll leave you like that for now," he said, flicking the flashlight off. Sammy stayed where she was, frozen midair. Alex smiled down at the flashlight. What exactly could this thing do?
