With a glance at her clock, Emily saw that it was time for dinner. Excited to see how the changes on her family would play out, she exited her room, quickly going down to the dining room.
Dawn and her former dad were already there, already eating spaghetti and meatballs, which had been Dawn's favorite dinner, both in the old and new reality.
"Emily, how was your day today?" Julia asked her daughter in a slightly monotone voice, brushing away a few black locks of hair. "Everything okay? It looks like something's up with you."
Emily shook her head, giving her newest mom a smile. Being a woman suited her, and Emily was already preferring it to Julia's former form. "I'm fine, thanks! But where's Mom?"
Julia grinned to herself, thinking about the sex they had had prior to her making dinner. "Oh, Katherine's busying herself in the kitchen. I keep telling her there's no need to fuss over the dishes, but she just won't listen..."
Emily grinned to herself, Mom was probably staying far away from Julia, knowing full well what would happen. "Is she going to join us for dinner?"
"If she doesn't, I'll go get her out myself." Julia said, smirking.
"What about you, Dawn?" Emily asked her newly turned bimbo sister. "Everything allright today?"
"Like, today was just the best!" Dawn said in her adorable ditzy voice again. If she been over 16, Emily totally would've found it annoying, but Dawn, who was 14 even after the change, made the voice work somehow.
Still, Emily felt kinda bad that she turned Dawn into this dumb, sexual mess. Dawn really liked transformation, just like Emily...
"Glad to hear that." Julia said, snapping Emily from her thoughts, before frowning to herself as she glanced into the kitchen. Katherine seemed to be frantic, as if something was troubling her.
"Hey Emily," Julia said, tilting her head to the side, her eyes filled with worry. "Could you go and check on your mother?"
"Sure!" Emily said, skipping into the kitchen. "Hey mom!" She said, upon seeing her mother wash the dishes. "Wanna come for dinner?"
"Ed-Emily?" Her mom asked, Emily noticing her slipup. "Is... something off to you? About our family?"
"What?" Emily asked, playing innocent, hoping she was a good enough actor. "What do you mean?"
Katherine frowned, glaring at Emily. "I've know you long enough to know when you're lying, and right now, you're doing it...."
Emily's eyes widened, she didn't have the Chronivac with her to use if things went wrong. "Um..."
