Marvin smiled to the young girl, reaching to rest his hands on her head. "Well, "Amanda," if we're going to take care of you, we'll have to enroll you in school too, wont we?"
"Amanda" blinked, and frowned to herself, realizing this was true. "Yeah....second grade a second time. Not something I ever thought I would say."
"Well, just think of all the new friends you will make. Our granddaughter wasn't known in the local schools, so you won't have to worry about being recognized as her."
"That's true," Amanda nodded. "But even so there might be a chance. We may have to use the chronivac to adjust some things, after all...if Im your real granddaughter, people might wonder why I am alive. No offense..."
