As you go through the door frame something becomes immediately obvious, the walls are pitch black and covered up by band posters, most of which you've never heard of. The only one being Paramore, and judging by the look of it, it's from the mid 2000s. You're confused but intrigued.
You suddenly realise you're still naked and head to the cupboard with a mirror. As you open the door, the first thing you notice is a pair of black jeans and grab them. You grab some underwear and a white t shirt. You don't know if they'll fit but decide to try anyway.
Once the clothes are on you feel something go through your body, like a cold hand running down your body. You jump and scream slightly. You're facing the mirror and notice something different about yourself again. Your hair is now black and a bit of it is green. "Oh my God," you gasp, "I'm a scene kid?" You look around again and sigh, it's blatantly obvious by the bedroom. You notice that you recognise the bands on the walls now. In your mind you know that Paramore are still a new band with one album. "Holy shit," you mutter, "I've went back in time."
You run over to the CDs and grab a cover. As you look down for the copyright year you find out that 2005 is the latest. You've travelled back 13 years. You're worried that David may not even know about this. Heck, he'd still be in Primary (Elementary) school.
You rummage through the albums. It feels weird having so many of them again. You grab one and look at it. It's "Halos for Heros, Dirt for the Dead" by A Day to Remember. You feel the urge to play it. They're apparently your favourite band now. Your eyes peer up and see a CD player, you open the disk drive via a button, put the disk in and press the button again. This time the disc drive goes in. It actually feels weird, you haven't done that for years. The music starts playing and you have to agree, you like what you're hearing.
You walk over to your bed and automatically reach for the bedside cabinet. Your hand doesn't find anything and your heart skips a beat, you've lost your phone. You reach around on the floor for about a minute before remembering that it's 2005. You'd be lucky to have a mobile (cell) phone. You laugh a bit at your slight idiocy. You don't know what you're going to do for entertainment until your eyes spot a small CRT tv with a PS2 connected to it. You walk over and grab the remote, you turn the Playstation on and you're greeted by the PS2 starting sequence. The game loads up and it's Need For Speed: Most Wanted. You sit down on the floor and begin playing the game with your favourite band playing in the background. All the worries going away. 2005 is such a simpler time.
