The girls walked out of the gym, Katie was fiddling with her phone. "Do you know where Kellie is?" asked Karen.
"No, that's why I'm calling here," said Katie.
Just then, the air in front of the girls started to distort, a near invisible oval of air floating in front of them. "Uh, are you doing that?" asked Lisa.
"No," said Katie, "Mary, are you?"
"Not me," said Mary Elise.
Then someone stepped through what was apparently a portal. It was a beautiful young woman in her mid 20's at the most. Her blonde hair shone in the sunlight and her black tank top exposed the upper curves of her C-cup breasts. Her blue jeans were wrapped showed off the contours of her shapely legs and curvy hips. The woman spotted the group and said, "Oh, good, you're together. That saves me some time."
"Uh, who are you?" asked Katie.
"Well, I'm you from an alternate future," said the woman.
Katie blinked before asking, "What?"
"Well, I know your Kellie's told you about alternate timelines," said the other Katie (or Alt-Katie as we'll call her from now on), "I actually visited here before."
"She's telling the truth," said Kumiko, "We did talk to her for a while."
"Yeah, but she was a lot younger then," said Samantha.
"Well, I didn't want to shock them too much," said Alt-Katie, "But I think seeing me as an adult is more convincing case for you. But if we don't want things to be too awkward..." She suddenly started shrinking down. Her womanly curves deflated, but not all the way. She stopped shrinking when she had gotten to Katie's age. Now she looked near-identical to Katie, except for her clothes and a few minor details.
Katie blinked as she tried to process this. "So...you're from the timeline that Kellie is originally from?" she asked.
"Not quite," said Alt-Katie, "That timeline no longer exists due to a bad mistake. I'm from the timeline where said mistake never happened. There are a lot of differences between that timeline and this one."
"Ok, I'm starting to get a headache," said Karen, massaging her head.
Mary Elise turned to Katie and asked, "Is it always this weird for you."
"Actually, this is a new level of weirdness," said Katie.
"So, I'm guessing you didn't just pop into our reality on a whim," said Lisa.
"No, I wanted to meet my alternate self," said Alt-Katie, "Also, I wanted to help out the Mare Elise of this reality."
"What? Am I such a pity case that I need to have support from another dimension?" asked Mary bitterly.
"Listen, I know things have been rough for you, but it can be better. I just want to help you get back what you lost," said Alt-Katie.
"Unless you can bring my father back, I don't think you can offer much," said Mary.
"Maybe not, but I am wanting to help. You might need someone who has more experience here," said Alt-Katie.
"Right, we wouldn't want anyone jumping to conclusions and automatically assuming the worst," said Karen, giving Lisa, Kumiko, and Sam scornful looks.
Alt-Katie sighed and said, "I can already see this is going to be more than a handful for me." She looked at Mary Elise, sensing powerful magic in her ring. "What kind of ring is that?" she asked.
"It's a transforming ring," said Mary.
"It feels like one. I hope you've gotten some control over it," said Alt-Katie.
"Of course I do," said Mary, though Alt-Katie could tell she wasn't being honest.
"Well, don't bother using that thing on me. I'm protected against direct magical attacks," said Alt-Katie, "Say, where's your Kellie?"
"We were just about to go find her," said Katie.
"Good, I'll come along," said Alt-Katie, "I can find her for you. Just give me a minute to get a tracking spell going."
While her alternate self worked, Katie stepped away from the others, more to clear her head than anything else. Lisa walked over to her and asked, "You ok?"
"Sure, just met myself from an alternate reality who's apparently a witch or something," said Katie.
"Well, at least you're going to grow up to be hot," said Lisa.
Katie glanced over at her alternate self. While her 15-year old body was built like Katie's own, Katie could tell when that sexy body was going to develop. Was it weird that she felt a little aroused by that? Was she attracted to herself? Either Katie has a thing for blonde bombshells or she's a bigger narcissist than she thought. This day was getting weirder.
