"I don't why we're here" a bored teenager said to two other teenagers.
"Look, okay! It's not my idea to do this, we just need something to do at this meetup. Stupid blackouts" One of the teenagers angrily replied.
"Why do we have an annual meetup? Why annual?" one teenager questioned to the others.
Drake, Marcus, Nigel. Three teenagers just leaving the local public secondary school, Hurhill High, to get something entertaining for their annual meet-up. Sadly, things didn't go as planned for them, as they were currently still in one of the biggest town blackouts they've ever had. This weird mysterious store was their last chance of finding something for the meetup.
"Greetings, gentlemen!" The old man said, with a slight bit of excitement.
"Yeah...hey" Nigel responded, looking at the shelves of this store.
Marcus looked back and glared at Nigel, who didn't even notice at all. "Yeah, hi. We are looking for something fun for, like, a meetup or party or something".
"I have the perfect thing for you! Follow me..." The old man gestured to Marcus to follow him into a room behind a battered old curtain.
Marcus turned to Drake. "Keep a good eye on Nigel, I don't want him to leave without us knowing like last time". Drake nodded, and Marcus joined the old man into the other room.
"Are the girls coming?" Drake asked Nigel. "Babs definitely is, Nat is only going if Kirsty is" Nigel replied, uninterested about the topic. Drake was waiting for Nigel to say that Kirsty was coming. The wait lasted a quarter of a minute. Drake couldn't handle it anymore. "WELL?!".
"Well, what?" Nigel replied. "Is she coming?" Drake asked. "I've already talked about this" Nigel replied, slightly annoyed to talk about the same topic he already answered. "No, you idiot. Is Kirsty coming?" Drake shouted at Nigel. "Oooooooooohhh" Nigel realised "Yeah, she's coming".
Although Drake was relieved, he was still annoyed with Nigel with his constant slow replies.
After a while, Marcus returned, holding a dusty box. "Alright, let's go".
Drake was confused. "Wait, don't you have to pay for that first?".
"Hey, you're right" Marcus realised, and start after saying that, he rushed out the doors of the store.
Drake wasn't good with confrontation, so he ran as well.
Nigel noticed that Drake and Marcus left the door, and since he didn't know what they had done, he just causally walked out of the store.
The old man crawled out of the room and lifted himself into standing position. "Bloody kids... bloody kneed me in the privates... oh well, they have their just desserts now... ow..."
