There was something strange about the book that the judge was holding, Veronica took notice. The words were too simple, too animalistic, and she didn't know why...
Veronica stood up, walking to the microphone, staring into the eyes of the judge. She could try and deliberately get the word wrong and see what the judge would do, but even then, she didn't want to disappoint.
"*ahem* Bray. B-R-A-Y. Bray. HEE-HAW" Veronica covered her mouth in shock. Why did she do that? Did she really have to give an example of a bray as well as spell the word? Veronica was too embarrassed to think about anything else. She awkwardly walked back and sat back down on the chair. The judge took no notice of it.
Veronica was upset with what she did, putting her hands below her chin, not feeling her ears slightly stretch and shift upwards towards her head. Her hands felt so cold, and strangely stiff, she couldn't even lift her fingers from the position she left them. She also felt something swinging behind her, slightly tickling her with some sort of brush-like hair.
The judge, smiling, stood up and said...
