The lump between Luke and Zack's shared shoulders finally finished forming, and there was a third head, one that looked like...Zack. There was now one Luke head on their right-hand side, and two Zack heads on their left-hand side and in the middle.
"Why does your new head look like Zack?" Mark asked his friend and younger brother.
"I think it's because I'm the one who wished for the head," Zack replied.
"Well, should we name him?" Luke asked.
"I would like that," answered the third head.
Zack suggested that since he already tried out the ring earlier and got three more heads, perhaps they could give their new head one of those names. After a discussion between the five of them, Luke and Zack's body bro was christened "Jack".
"I guess you guys have to take the rings off and continue with your 'experiments'," Jack said.
"Well, we don't have to," Zack replied.
After a while, Zack managed to convince his brothers and Luke to let him keep wearing the extra heads ring until his next turn. That way, Jack could spend a little more time with them. The others agreed, and Zack and Luke slipped off the conjoined twins half-rings. Luke and Zack ended up back in their own bodies--and since Zack was the one who willed Jack into existence, their two heads were now on their own body. It looked like Zack's, clothes and all, but it was less than twice as wide and with a two-headed shirt.
Luke put the half-rings back on his bed with the other tested rings. Since he had helped Zack test out two rings, he assumed that it would still be his turn, and he went to his desk to pick another ring from the box.
"What are you doing?" Mark asked.
"It's my turn," Luke explained.
"You just tested a ring with Zack," Mark replied.
"Actually, I was helping him test two rings that had already been tested," Luke responded. "So technically, that was still just Zack's turn."
This argument went on for a few minutes, and in the end only one of them emerged victorious.
