The cover couple was actually three couples, and they were none other than Clara and Robbie as well as Mr. and Mrs. Piper, because they were technically the "inaugural subjects" of Animalia, being the first two to be uplifted with the "final version" of the virus while Jack and Mary were technically converted/uplifted by the original "proto-virus". The Past, Present, and Future talked about the progression of Animalia in general, as well as future plans. The primary part of the Future part of the Article talked about the new Asia colony. There had been an island halfway between the eastern coast of China and the southwestern tip of Japan that was stable enough to support a medium-sized town that appeared on maps as far back as the Three Kingdoms period, but was removed from the maps by WWII-era Imperial Japan due to not being "tactically significant" at the time. Because it was an easy "go-between stop" between China and Japan, there were also plans to include parts of the colony, including tourist ferry ports, in China and Japan. The general theme of the colony was a combination of Ming Dynasty China and Feudal Japan, because of the location of the island.

It was also when a male Flemish Giant Rabbit arrived for uplifting. While Rockwall, as he was named, was taller than Bunni by a head (not counting her ears), it seemed to prove that she had at least some Flemish Giant Rabbit in her "heritage"
