You see Sergeant was right about that letter, the Canine Corps only had 15 slots open for new trainees, but 25 rejected cadets accepted the collars like you, and we had 5 dogs delivered from the kennels. So the dogs from the kennels are being sold as guard dogs, and ten of the K9 cadets are slated to be re-humanized. And when I saw your name as a reject from K9 training, I decided to switch your collar and chip with Bowzer. There's a 1 percent chance that the restoration formula won't work on a person, and they did take a sample of your DNA, so I'm curious to see if Bowzer will turn into you, or if you'll be classified as part of the one percent. Now the courier service should be here to take you, the new Bowzer to your permanent placement."
You bark angrily. Rudy can't do this!
Rudy picks up a clipboard and flips through it. He rubs his chin and frowns.
"Hm, apparently, the deliveryman is just supposed to deliver the five real dogs to these five different destinations, but it looks like it doesn't matter which dog he delivers where," Rudy shook his head.
"Well, let's see how lucky you are, Bowzer. I added a GPS tracker to your collar, so I should be able to find out what happened to you. Destination 1 is the junkyard, destination 2 is the DEA to be trained as drug sniffer, destination 3 is the Army base (do they still train doctors how to treat bullet wounds by shooting dogs?)," he added with a shrug, "destination 4, ew, the Vet's for neutering, and Vet will deliver you to your new owner - Parkhurst Enterprises? Oh, and destination 5 is the one I hope you get...." Rudy snickers but doesn't tell you what destination 5 is or who Parkhurst Enterprises are.
You growl lowly and prepare to charge the crate door.
