After enjoying his night alone with Amy, Tad returned home the next morning at around 8 AM. When he opened the front door to the Decker household, he wasn't surprised to hear the sound of the TV coming from the living room and the sound of something frying on the stove in the kitchen.
"That you Tad?" Jen Decker called from the living room.
"Yeah mom, it's just me," Tad called back, taking off his shoes and walking into the living room. His mother was sitting on the couch, still in her pajamas, with a cup of coffee in her left hand. Looking over the half wall that divided the kitchen and living room, Tad could see Claire cooking something on the stove in the kitchen.
"Claire said that she wanted to cook for me this morning," Jen explained as Tad sat down on the couch next to his mother. "So, how was your night?"
"It was good," Tad responded. "Amy and I went to the meeting before we went back to her place and had some leftovers. After that, we went out into the woods for a hunt before we went back. How about you and Claire?"
"Well, we just went out to the movies before coming back here to have our own fun for the night. But enough about that! What was the meeting about last night?"
"Well, a man named Tom Herald was discussing to matter of telling the world about weres," Tad explained, which earned a nod from Jen as she continued to listen. "He made some good points about how the world isn't like how it used to be when Moon Lake was founded so many years ago and people could be willing to accept weres. It was quite interesting to say the least."
"Well, it sounds like he has a very good point," Jen commented. "After what happened with Lionel Ulysses in Seattle, it's only a matter of time before something else like that happens again. It's smart to make sure that the world knows that weres aren't dangerous before that happens."
