“Great choice” the voice responds before pulling up another even longer menu. “Now your elf type?”
“Elf type?” Andrew asks confused.
“Of course” Says the voice. “Elf’s aren’t just pointed eared, tall humans. Elf’s also called Elves have exited in real world fiction for many years. As well as exiting in their respective fantasy worlds for often millennia. Breaking off and forming factions, a lot like humans. There are many sub race of elves for you to choose from. As well as job.”
The voice than let you read through the list of elf types:
1: Name: Light Elf/ High Elf
Info: What you imagine when you think of a fantasy elf. Once they reach their prime they stop aging. They live for thousands of years in there steel and glass cities usually hidden deep in the forest or built into the side of a mountain. They hide there true emotions behind perpetual frowns of smug smiles.
Skin: Often pale. Very few have any scars.
Clothes: For Battle they wear thin but strong shining metal plates that in no way hinder there faster than human movements. When not in combat they wear long white flowing silk dresses and robs, often decorated by complex patterns no human can replicate.
Weapons: typically sword or bow and a shield.
2:Name: Dark Elf/ Deep Elf
Info: They are VERY different different from there High/ Light brothers and sisters. Dark/ Deep Elf clans often break off from High/ Light clans. They enjoy all the pleasure and emotion they can. Living there lives to the fullest in every way. This often leads to them having sorter on average lives than the High Elves. However the Dark Elves have the most powerful drugs, poisons, healing potions, and alcohol in any fantasy setting, able to kill any none Elf that mistakenly tries even a drop of it. There Elven immune systems are so good it’s the only way they can get a kick. There are very few times a true leader of the Deep Elves. They live in caves deep under ground, or in camps on the surface. They are the most free spirited of the Elf races, always ready for a dar, to try something new, or accept a bounty or job if they see a good enough change in it.
Skin: Many have Black skin or Light/ Dark Purple Skin. Why this is unknown even to them. Probably a side effect of there lack of direct sun light or the drugs.
Clothes: no uniforms exist for Dark Elves. Some still were the silk robes of there days in the High Elven cities albeit dying them black or dark purple. Others have there armor painted black. Some even walk around naked. (Again they enjoy a lot of freedom away from the High Elf cities.)
Weapons: Again no uniforms for the free Dark Elf’s. Darts, swords, axes, daggers, etc. they use what they like rather than what they train with.
3: Name: Wood Elf/ Tree Elf/ Forest Elf
Info: The most in touch with nature. They live in the trees eating wild berries and fruit, never staying in one place long. Sleeping only when tired. The forest spirit and animals are there friends. They have the fewest of there own race to talk to. Masters of stealth.
Skin: Newer Forest Elves have the Pale skin of the High Elves. However over time there skin slowly changes to either a Dark or Light green color. Or a Dark or Light brown. Nobody, not even the Wood Elves know why this happens. However when it does happen they are officially a Tree/ Wood Elf. (Some Wood Elves beleave it is the forest spirit or spirits giving them there blessing.)
Clothes: Wear bikinis or loincloth’s made from forest matterial. Or often times nothing a all. Letting the odd branch or shadow take care of modesty.
Weapons: like long range weapons. Darts and Bows.
4: Name: House Elf
Info: The shortest of them all. Often mistaken for dwarfs, however they are much skinnier. Like to take care of thinks. A certain bearded northerner is famous for taking them in for work.
Skin: pale with perpetually red cheeks
Clothes: Many wear the uniforms of the bearded northerner. But some wear simple stitched together rags.
Weapons: Like blunt objects. Clubs, bats, hammers. Enjoy hitting things over and over again.
5: Name: Space Elf/ Star Elf
((WARNING: HIGHER THAN THE TALLEST MOUNTAIN DLC REQUIRED))
Info: yes this is a thing. Sometimes there is an alien race that looks and acts very similar to Orks, Fairies, Giants, and yes, even Elves. Become a mercenary, see the galaxy. Explore unique planets ruled by fantasy races. The adventure begins HERE.
Once you finish the Elf races you see another optional tab for Jobs.
Jobs:
Assassin: Elven assassins are often highered by nobles for high profile targets. They spend many human life times honing there craft.
Skill: Dagger. Dart. Other
Princess/ Prince: Not a lot of freedom to start with. Sometimes you get kidnapped by dragons or Dark wizards. And get to adventure with the people that save you.
Slave: Elf slaves are also popular among human nobles. The once free pointed eared race reduced to serving them food in chains and rags. Also some times a maid outfit if there female. Many escape eventually however. But they have a hard time learning the language of there true race, and are seen as outcasts by the High/ Light Elves. The Dark and Wood Elves accepts them on most occasions though.
