The Summer Animalia Bodybuilding Competition wasn't much different from the bodybuilding competition that was part of the IAC last summer. The main difference was the competitors. There were some people who were in the IAC that weren't competing in the A-BC. Some were because they had already won in the IAC and weren't allowed in this contest in order to give the other bodybuilders a chance at winning. Others didn't enter because they didn't really see the A-BC as worth their time. There were no medals to win in this competition and while there was a cash prize, it wasn't much of a fortune.
But as many people who weren't returning to compete, there were newcomers who has signed up. Unsurprisingly, those newcomers included the members of Project White Lily, who were ready to rejoin the bodybuilding world on a healthier, more organic level. A surprising new entry was Aleta, who was partnered with Buford in the Ultimate Couples challenge. Aleta herself wasn't really sure what the big deal with bodybuilding was, but she wanted to support Buford. She had to admit, the weight-training was enjoyable when they were together. She had gotten rather toned from all the exercise. Another surprising entry was Rockwall, the Flemish Giant Rabbit who had been uplifted relatively recently. While there have been rabbit bodybuilders, they were mainly in the Lightweight category, not the Super Heavyweight. But a Flemish Giant Rabbit is very different from other rabbits.
Though there were Animalians who were too late to sign up, they still got to show off with some of the Feats of Strength. Most notably was Cammy's lifting of Stuart and Marvin, which earned the trio's place on this month's cover of Animalia Magazine. Rumor had it that of the two, Cammy preferred Stuart while Marvin was making good progress with Princess. But there wasn't confirmation for that yet. In any case, the A-BC was as interesting as the competition from the IAC and there were plenty of people wanting to see who the winners would be.
