"We'll go the barbarian path," the trio said in unison and were surprised to see so had the girl.
"Are you serious? You'll never make it," the receptionist was clearly amused. "They'll eat you alive. Look at you, none of you have developed and hair yet. I'd expect that from some the elf, but not even your biggest friend," indicating Jack, "has nothing on the other aspirants I've seen."
This got Jack really angry, as Sara had seen him never to back down from a challenge "I'll go," Jack slamming his hands in the desk, "and when I get back you'll see how we destroy your classes. How much for the year?"
"Oh, we don't charge for that class unless you return. Helps streamline the quitters so we don't have to hear their whining about getting their money back."
"Sign us up."
"Ok your funeral, cards please." Each handed him their card and he proceeded to use the magic pen on his desk to alter their cards slightly, adding the Barbarian class to each, only giving Sara a sideways glance upon seeing her card listed succubus. "All done, but I doubt I'll see you again."
As they left Sara felt a little self conscious at what the man had said about them. They had just begun to enter into puberty, and had felt a little self conscious about the changes that would be coming, especially Sara. Her horns and tail were concealed now, but she had seen imaged of succubus with foot long horns and tail that could be mistaken for a small dragon, how would she ever hide that? And that wasn't even touching on her penis she had grown, she had heard stories if succubi tearing humans in half with theirs.
"Hey Sara, don't worry about that guy," said Jack jerking her out of her thoughts, "we can ace this class so long as we're together and well show him."
"Thank you," Sara was thankful to have such good friends.
"We just need to stop by the market and load up for the trip before we set out," interjected Vect.
"Umm, h-hey."
The trio stopped and turned around to see the girl standing behind them nervously holding some kind of staff.
"Hey what's up," asked Sara.
The girl was small, smaller than even Sara at 4' 6" and was thinly built as opposed to the trio's athletic builds from the Thieves School, but was more physically developed with more definite adult curves. She was wearing a blue robe, that Sara realized was a mage graduation robe.
"You're from the mage school aren't you," asked Vect.
"Uh, yeah. I was wondering if, well, seeing as we sorta are going to be in the same class, we could, maybe, sorta....." the girl was obviously very nervous at talking to new people as her voice trailed off.
"Traveling together is a wonderful idea," declared Jack as he rushed to the girl's side and placed an arm around her, "but if we're going to be traveling together, we need to get to know one another. I'm Jack the Mighty. And that's just Sara and Vect over there.
'Why the hell did he give himself a title,' thought Vect in annoyance.
"My name's Lelu," said the girl meekly.
"Well, Lelu we best get our gear together so we can set off for our next class," Jack said nearly dragging the girl with him as he went.
"Show off, but if anyone can make someone feel more comfortable around strangers it's him. Maybe he should have tried for a bard class," thought Vect out loud as the trio and their new companion set out on their journey.
