A pair of land surveyors had been tasked with mapping out a large tract of land. Before they could finish their work however, they discovered evidence of previous human settlement. According to their contract they weren't permitted to continue, in case they ruined any archeological artifacts or ruins. So the pair notified their superiors and left.
A month or so later a new archeological site had been set up to collect and catalog the discoveries. After a few weeks, an entirely new section of ruins were found. None of the archeologists could tell exactly how extensive this new section was but they all agreed that it could be massive. With this most recent find, the site became too much for the current team to handle alone. The foreman sent a request to the site owner for another worker and within two weeks the new archeologists was on their way.
Devon, the foreman, had instructed the rest of his team to ignore the newly discovered section until more help arrived. In the meantime, The team busied themselves studying, cleaning and unearthing artifacts from the original site. The team had found many fascinating trinkets and artifacts from the first section so there was plenty to keep them busy.
After another week of waiting, the new archeologists finally arrived and Devon gathered everyone together to meet their new team member. "Everyone, I'd like you to meet ..."
