The morning light peaked over from the east, causing the scouts to arouse from their slumber. It was certainly an odd sight to see the boys exit from their tents, their heads quickly being followed by their longer furless ears above them, to which they scratched instinctively, oblivious to the foreignness of them. Even as they greeted each other, they saw nothing wrong with their strange, yet adorable pink noses twitching along with their whiskers.
As they gathered around the designated eating area, it became apparent that not only did their bodies and perception change, but also their mannerisms. Where there should have been individual steps instead came hops with both feet from each scout. Even their hands were absentmindedly brought to their chests, hands limply hanging as though they truly were rabbits! Of course, along with the rest of their changes, all this went unnoticed by each boy as they hopped along with their ears bouncing with every bound and dopey smiles on each whiskered face.
Breakfast seemed reminiscent of their previously normal behavior, though now every scout was now content with nibbling on forkfuls of leafy greens and other veggies over the rest of their camp standard food. Though it appeared normal, the visually dormant magic was actually still working on the scouts as they ate. With every nibble, it appeared as though the front teeth of each boy were growing longer, to the point that by the time breakfast was over, all had two longer front nibblers that barely hung over every lower lip, furthering their bunny-like appearance.
