"I mean, I'm not gonna be living as a girl. I'm only gonna be Emily whenever I'm on set. The first week is just practice and rehearsals before we start shooting. I don't think they're gonna replace me with a seventeen year old girl..."
"Are you sure?"
Upon hearing that however, Nathan suddenly seemed unsure.
"Yeah...don't be daft...they wouldn't do that."
"Well fine, I'm just gonna have to pop by and see you when you're a sweet little teeny then..."
"No way!" The thought of being around such an obnoxious personality like Laura's in the form of a teenage girl sent a shiver up Nathan's spine. "You're gonna have to wait until I'm on TV."
"But how will I ever recognise you?"
"I'll tell you when my show's on."
Laura blew a raspberry in response.
"You're no fun."
Laura sulked as she went on about her business. After all, Nathan wasn't the only one with a job. Laura worked part-time as a receptionist for a local company that supplied drinking water across the country. It was only sixteen hours a week, but it was more than what Nathan worked.
Until now....
