"I didn't wanna live like this! What the hell are we gonna do? What are we gonna tell the landlord? What about my friends? Or your friends for that matter!? What about my parents? I don't want any of them to know. I didn't even want you to see me like this! How am I gonna get through this?"
Nathan's fear was finally starting to show. Acknowledging this, Laura toned herself down to a calm and mature level. Noticing a tear running down the teenager's face, she rushed over and embraced him with a hug. Although she thought of it as a warm and comforting hug to calm her little flatmate down, she was oblivious to the teenager's face being smothered under her chest; a luxury that Nathan could not experience because of his under-developed body for a girl that age.
Nathan quietly struggled to break free. When the oblivious Laura finally released him, she kept a hold of his shoulders and knelt down to his new eye level.
"Don't worry Nate," she said gently. "We'll work this out… "
