Riley couldn't think straight. She knew the camera had just gone off but she couldn't focus. It had said something about "refreshing" and then it flashed. Riley looked down and was relieved to see her stomach in tact. "Thank god the baby is okay at least. But did something change?" Riley thought.
She picked up the camera and examined it. It looked fine, but was wary after the huge flash. She thought about her life. She was born 30 years ago, grew up in her old hometown. She remembered prom with her boyfriend and going down the aisle. She remembered their honeymoon and finding out her baby was coming. Yup, everything was fine.
She decided that it wasn't worth it. If the camera could just freak out at any moment it wasn't worth it to risk the baby. Riley brought the camera over to a trash can and threw it out. She then waddled over to the food court with a craving for ice cream, thinking about baby names. "Hmm, maybe Emily is a good name? Or maybe Veronica?"
Unbeknownst to Riley, someone thought that camera looked pretty good and sneakily grabbed it out of the trash. Who was it?
