It was unclear to him who Mrs Robinson was or where she came from but it was clear that she now meant everything to him.
It had started on a work trip away, he’d been flown out to another industrial town in the back end of nowhere. On this occasion he thought he’d got quite lucky as he’d been booked into a little old hotel with just a bit more character than the usual soulless holiday inns he was used to.
After his fourth night in the hotel he allowed himself an extra drink at the bar. To hell with work s ethic about only having one beverage with dinner on work trips. He asked the young waitress for a glass of red before finding a stool tucked into a dark corner at the end of the bar.
He was slowly sipping his wine when she walked into the hotel bar.
It wasn’t immediately clear just how attractive and well established this woman was. From the floor up Jim slowly took her in, she wore brown leather boots that hugged her calf’s and seemed to mold themselves into her knees where tight dark denim jeans began to thicken enticingly before disappearing up under a long coat. The coat itself left the right amount to the imagination, from it flared hem hat suggested healthily sized hips to the belt that pulled the waist in further accentuating the hips and the blossoming bust above. A scarf then covered what would have been a deep cut v in her top. It was then that he caught her eyes piercing straight into his gaze. He swiftly looked down at the wine in his hand before turning back to the bar in embarrassment. He’d k ow idea how long he’d stared at her but was pretty sure she’d caught him for too long.
Through the corner of his eye he observed her take of her coat and scarf, hanging them by the door before the clack of the small heels on her boots across the old wooden floor sounded like they were coming towards him from behind.
