Marin had stopped searching to lay on the nasty bed with the love making goddess with an innocent demeanor.
'Ha, take zat, Lucas!' he thought with a smug grin. It would've been hilarious, his reaction to Marin getting laid before he could get a new girlfriend. Even funnier than that her name was... Lucy....
'Could it be zat ze curse is real? Non.' Marin thought with a content smile. He reached in his bag and sighed while looking at his reflection in the phone.
'If only we could get ze connection....' the french guy thought as he looked around the room. He went to put it back with the others the guys had set down... but he paused as he saw something bright pink in the bag full of phones.
"Allo? Vwhat is zis?" Marin asked as he pulled out every guy's phone.... except for Colin's flip phone and Lucas' Old Android. Instead, he pulled out two slim, pretty expensive looking Iphones with custom backplates. One was (as previously stated) bright pink, the other was themed around that mitetros... mertoid.... that scifi game with the curvaceous... blonde in the... blue jumpsuit... that Colin liked.
'Non, I am "waaaay overthinking zis".' Marin thought as he chuckled.
Suddenly Peaches pecked his check and grabbed the pink phone.
"There's mah phone, oh your such a sweetheart." Peaches grinned.
Marin froze before saying "Oh, well, you are quite vwelcome..."
"Oh an' yah found Sammy's phone! Ah know this is sudden an' all but can ah be yer girlfriend?" Peaches asked.
"Of course... Lucy. Say, if someone asked... vwhen you and your friend's birthdays were.. vwhat vwould you say?" Marin asked with a light sweat.
"Ah'm July 16th, Sammy's October 22nd." Lucy answered.
Marin nodded as she went downstairs.
That's when he grabbed Sammy's phone and punched in her birthday on the password screen. He went to check her photos. It was mostly selfies, cosplay, and pics with... Colin's ex-girlfriend? Yeah, it was Jazz. The two were close until the gamer learned she was only dating him to hide the fact she was gay from her parents. The big guy was devestated, still hadn't found a new girlfriend.
"Are you looking through my pictures?" Sammy asked.
Marin froze and realized that Peaches had sent Sammy up here for her phone.
"Oh I am sorry. I'm not sure how your phone got here, it is a mess, non? Just making sure zit works."
Marin was a terrible liar, you could tell it by the look on his face.
Sammy snatched the phone and looked at the current pic of her and Jazz playing Smash Bros.
"Who is zat girl?" Marin asked.
"My ex.... I loved her more than anybody... I mean not just fucking, I mean geniune, actual, warm love... and then that bitch went and tore my heart out for some tie-dye haired bitch named Chloe." Sammy frowned as angry tears trailed down her face.
Marin stood there stunned as he realized that that was nearly the exact same description that Colin gave for the break up.
It was looking pretty clear: this curse could actually be real!
